Rémy's place was cozy and very well-located. Very clean and with all the necessary amenities. The stairs are a bit narrow going up to the fourth floor walk-up, but Sébastien helped us with our bags the first day. Overall, I would highly recommend this space.
Très bonne localisation dans Paris
Accueil chaleureux et possibilité d’accommodement à l'arrivée( heures et bagages )
I enjoyed my stay at the Art Deco apartment in the Marais.
Remi was the perfect host, very helpful with advise on getting around Paris, he supplied maps and pointed out where everything was located. Remi also explained how everything works in the apartment. The apartment was exactly how it was featured on Air bnb site. The location was perfect within walking distance to many cafes, bakeries and supermarkets. Very quiet at night as there is no passing traffic. Thanks Remi for being the perfect host and I look forward to staying at your lovely apartment next time I visit Paris.
Remy was an amazing host and the suite was adorable, just the right size for me...if you are madly in love the right size for two as well :). I would definitely stay here again, centrally located and quiet location, clean and had all I needed. Thank you Remy.
Our stay at Rémy's apartment was fantastic -- exactly as described. Before our trip, he provided detailed information about our stay, then met us at the apartment and showed us around (in French and English).
The apartment is very centrally located. It's a stone's throw from an adorable cafe, Le Roi de Piques, as well as all of the brasseries and fresh market food along rue de Bretagne (the Enfants Rouges market is an excellent, hidden gem). It's also close to public transport, and central enough that you can get pretty much everywhere by foot.
The apartment has everything needed for a trip to Paris and we would gladly rent this apartment again.
My mother and I stayed in this apartment for eight nights during our recent trip to Paris. Remy was not there, but we were met and greeted by his substitute Sebastian who gave us the keys and was so kind as to help us to get the suitcase up the stairs. I would say that the apartment is pretty spacious, so for two travelers like us it was perfect. Besides, I specifically looked for an accommodation in Le Marais, so I found the location marvelous - right in the heart of the 3rd arrondissement and a couple of minutes away from the metro station "Arts et Metiers". The apartment is very cozy and has two windows that give it lots of light, allow to aerate it when it's hot and give a nice view over the roofs of the city. The kitchen has everything necessary to make a small meal and even a washing machine. There is an iron and an ironing board, so one can refresh their clothes before going out (which was very relevant for us, because we had tickets to the Opera). There was just one hitch in our stay - when we got up one day and the water in the tap would not warm up. However, I guess it was just a glitch of the water boiler, as before and after everything went well. The check out went smoothly too. Overall, I would stay in this apartment again if it were free, as it was a pleasure to live there and to deal with the hosts. Thank you very much, Remy and Sebastian!
We loved our stay at Remy's apartment in the Marais. Remy was extremely helpful with showing us areas for shopping, groceries, restaurants, charming areas to wander around, what metro lines to take to certain attractions etc. He was so helpful I almost didn't need to bring my Rick Steves Paris book! The apartment is exactly as shown, very clean and has everything you will need for even a longer stay.
The area was fantastic with small boutiques and not very touristy, easy to get to on the metro even with our large luggage. We could walk to Notre Dame and the Louvre easily. The Marche Des Enfants Rouges is also nearby and worth a visit.
There were 2 bottles of water to greet us after a long hot journey and Remy kindly hauled my luggage up 4 flights (ground floor is 0 and the apartment is on 4) of narrow winding stairs. There is also no AC but there are 2 large windows that open fully and let in a nice breeze (no bugs at all).
I would absolutely recommend this place if you're OK with the stairs!
My friend and I stayed in the Rue des Vertus apartment for our four days in Paris. It was the perfect home base for our travels, and the Marais is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Paris. The bathroom is nice and modern, and having a kitchen, desk, etc. was great. I highly recommend this apartment! Remy was so helpful and available. He's a great host.
Remy was so friendly and helpful, even before we arrived. He sent us information and recommendations to help with our trip planning, and met us when we arrived, showing us how everything worked in the apartment. He also provided maps, information and advice about the local area as well as the entire city, which made it so easy for us to get around and find everything we needed including metro, supermarket, bakeries, restaurants and parks all close by. When we left, he arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport. The apartment was very clean and sweet, well appointed with all the basics including a comfortable bed. It gave us an opportunity to live in a nice Parisian neighbourhood instead of being in a hotel, which we really enjoyed. The four flights of stairs were a bit challenging some days after a lot of walking. Fortunately Remy helped us to carry our luggage upstairs when we arrived. We would definitely recommend Remy as a host!
