This was written by an executive with AIRBNB who stayed here..."Everything about this listing was perfect for me: the location, the amenities and the host! She proactively communicated with me before the check-in day, stayed up late to greet me outside the listing, as my flight arrived late, and made sure I knew where everything was and went over check-out procedures as well. The listing had every toiletry and linen I needed, and good things I didn't expect, like homemade muffins, greek yogurts, juice and coffee. I came and went as I pleased and had complete privacy and anytime I had a question, she responded quickly to my text messages/emails. The neighborhood was so safe and it felt great to be able to run in the pre-dawn hours without hesitation, and it's close to the Pearl District. I definitely would stay there again!"
Hope to hear from you!
Interaction with Guests
We're super busy so we'll probably do a meet and greet initially and I'll text you when I need to pop down and do laundry but will try and do it while you're working or out discovering Portland.
We are generally up 6:30am and lights out at 10:pm. You'll hear us a bit upstairs walking around and the occasional neighborhood dog barking but it's pretty quiet...we've had the best experiences with guests who are on similar work/school schedules.
Neighborhood is very safe and friendly, lots of walkers in the morning and evenings.
Location is an easy 5 miles to downtown Portland and also very convenient to Beaverton area. Easy walk to the bus stop, my sons do it each weekday to get to high school downtown. Having your own vehicle is easiest for sure.
Parking available in either the garage or right hand side of driveway.
Bus 58 is at the bottom of the hill, takes you right into downtown Portland or Beaverton.

I had a great stay at Tracy's! I was looking for a place I would be able to just rest my head at night and recharge after exploring the city most of the day and thats totally what I got- a nice, quiet retreat. Tracy and her family were such great hosts and the listing was exactly as described. She met me as I drove up and showed me around the space I would be staying in, which was very comfortable, quiet and clean, and a really short, easy drive to downtown. Beautiful view of her gardens outside and just overall nice, positive energy abounds here. Would definitely stay again!
Listing was accurate and a great place to stay! Tracy was awesome and very helpful!
Tracy's home is beautiful, relaxing, very clean, and within easy access to downtown Portland. I completely enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend Tracy's apartment to anyone looking for a place to call home in Portland. I loved her garden and the tress that surround the area behind her home. Thank you for your hospitality, Tracy! It was a true pleasure to meet you and your sons. I hope that our paths cross again in the future.
Had a positive experience staying here. Tracy was incredibly nice. She was able to accommodate my check-in time, greeted me and showed me around the space. There is plenty of room in the space with a comfy bed, nice tv, and good wi-fi & roku. The neighborhood was very nice, both the neighborhood and space were quiet, which was great. By Portland standards the weather was pretty hot while I stayed here, but Tracy brought down a couple of fans without my even requesting to help keep it cool. She also provided a nice touch with some water bottles and a few snacks. Everything appeared to be pretty clean (bathroom was very nice), but the floor was a bit dirty. The floor didn't look dirty, but after walking around inside the space (not at all outside) the bottoms of my feet got dark from whatever dirt/buildup was on the carpet. Overall it was a great stay, I just wanted to point that out as that was the reason I didn't give a five-star review, but I would give it a 4.5 if I could! It's a quick drive from here to downtown Portland as well. I recommend staying here.
Tracy met us when we arrived and made sure we felt comfortable in the space. The apartment was private and quiet. We enjoyed our stay!
Tracy's guest apartment was comfortable, spotlessly clean, and a great place to come back to at the end of the day. Super comfy bed. Quiet, pretty neighborhood, easy to get around. A couple different grocery stores within quick driving distance. I usually stay at a hotel when visiting family in Beaverton, but this was so much better! Tracy is friendly and helpful. I'd recommend her place to anyone!
The location was perfect for a visit to Portland. I was there to pick up my daughter from college. It's perfect for a single person looking for a quiet stay. An additional bonus is the view of the gardens. Tracy was there to greet me and the handoff of the keys was very smooth.
Friendly and drama free household. We've had the best success with guests who are on somewhat "normal" weekday work/school hours...especially during the school year. Generally, we're lights out at 10ish at the latest and 11ish on weekends...and up at 6:30. Definitely not the ideal place to stay for the night owls or the party types but it works for us and those who choose to stay here...
The daylite basement is very private. The space has it's own, separate entrance...guests have been able to utilize the kitchenette for all meals...we've had several people stay for over a month and were very comfortable. Occasionally, I need to come down and do laundry and I'll send a text to coordinate with you on that.
Hope to hear from you!
