The loft was nice and spacious, I stayed there for a month. The bed was the most comfortable I ever slept in. The space is the same as shown it the pictures, however, it was a bit run down in some areas and definitely needs refurbishment. Paint was peeling off the doors and the floors were extremely squeaky. The kitchen supplies were not very good, there were two very scratched pans and the oven was too dirty to cook anything in. Another negative side is the washing machine in the basement. It was broken when I arrived but after I contacted Hakim, he got it fixed the next day and offered to clean my laundry elsewhere during that period. The laundry area is not very ince though, dark and damp. Another issue was that the heat wasn't working upstairs, so it was kind of cold. Overall, it was an okay stay. However, I would definitely recommend this loft for short stays up to 1-2 weeks. Hakim is definitely a great host and is very accommodating. He was quick to respond to all of my questions and issues. I would definitely book with him again.
The place was great and so was the location! I would recommend it to anyone going to Montreal
We had a nice experience at Hakim's apt. The location in old Montreal was very good. The apt is pretty spacious. We were disappointed by the lack of cleanliness of the bed. But when we spoke to him it was taken care of right away which we appreciated. Probably an oversight by the cleaners.
Great central location! You can walk to the old port and get everything you need by foot. Cool space with lots of character and potential.
Didn't meet Hakim but he was quick and concise with his communications.
The place is huge, cozy - the bedroom is so warm. The bed was amazing! I wouldn't say such great things on the cleanliness of the kitchen and the bathrooms.. But I had a blast staying here. Check-in check-out was really easy.
Hakim's response was very quick and the check in and check out process was incredibly simple. The neighbourhood was beautiful and there were many places to eat and shop. The place itself was incredible. The lighting was a little dark and the walls a little thin but overall it was an amazing stay. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend and when I come back I will be staying here again!
Hakim has been a very kind and caring host. He answered quickly when we needed his help and I would definitely refer him to anyone looking for a place in Mtl.
