  • We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay - great space and a great location in the Old Port area Had everything we needed for entertaining. We definitely plan to return again and would certainly recommend this place. It is clean and comfortable. And Hakim was quick to respond to our inquiry.

  • Amazing loft apartment with a great location in Old Montreal -- and couldn't believe the price we got for it! Highly recommend this place to anyone (although I'm a bit hesitant to, as I would like to keep this place the "Best Kept Secret" lol).

Will most likely make a yearly tradition of returning to this loft. Thanks for everything Hakim!

  • Somewhere between a log cabin and Ikea sits Hakim's loft. It's quaint, cozy and shabby-chic yet modernized in certain areas. The artwork is interesting, the kitchen is adorable, the bed is big and comfy.

A couple of down sides though. Kitchen could use a once-over, since dishes and utensils were only 'sort of' clean. We had to wash off bits of parsley, chocolate (?), and grease before using them.

The front entrance of the building has a tricky lock, which caused us to think we had either the wrong address or the wrong keys. Once we were in though, everything else was fine.

Other guests' comments about the bathrooms make them sound deplorable, but they're really not. Yes, they could use an upgrade, and the tub was slippery (possibly residue from cleaning product), but overall they just seemed like 'old' but functioning facilities. They don't smell, the toilets were clean, the water pressure was fine etc. They do their job but aren't luxurious.

Location is great, not noisy, right near the metro with a 24-hour dep (convenience store) up the street. Sweet loft. Thanks also to Mirna for sorting out the key issue ;)

  • The apartment we picked was not available but Hakim immediately proposed this alternative, which was great value for money. Little hiccup at check-in, but again, Hakim was available and sorted it out in less than 5 minutes. If what you want is to be in the heart of Vieux Montreal but 2 minutes to the subway, it doesn't get better than this! This duplex is full of character & historic detail, even if there is room for improvement (bathroom finishes, kitchen accessories).

  • This apartment was in the most perfect location! Felt safe walking at night, convenient to delicious restaurants, the Metro, a fun museum, shopping. Very easy key pick-up / drop-off, quiet, no noise in the apartment, everything we could need in the kitchen.

Would recommend that anyone visiting Montreal stay at this apartment!
