As this is a private home, I ask our guests to treat the space, the things and the neighbors the same way they would do in their own home.
Please, throw the garbage in the appropriate containers in the main street - as you would do in your apartment - and please water the plants in spring and summer - they need constant attention and it can be a nice relaxing moment of the night with that beautiful view :)

Great place to stay the apartment is lovely, clean and quirkyand the rooftop is a haven after long days walking round the city! We often tanned and relaxed there and its a nixe sun trap for breakfast and lunch. The place is a 15minute walk to the station to get into the city and a 30minute walk away from a lively village to go and eat really cheap amazing food with the locals. There is a nice coffee shop next door but not really anything else in the local area. Laura was very welcoming with great communication and leaving some nice local treats for us. The only problem was the shower was loose on the wall but Laura did apologise for that. All in all a great stay but just be prepared to walk a lot. I would stay here again for the rooftop alone!

I came to Rome to do research. I knew it would be noisy and busy and hot in June so I chose Laura's apartment for its location and for the terrasse. Terrasse was a savior and haven in the middle of Roman chaos:) Parents of young kids should be aware that the surrounding walls of terrasse are not very high and could pose a risk with kids. The house needs a bit of tender care but otherwise all went well. AC, elevators, wifi worked! Not mentioned in Laura's description of the neighborhood is the train that you can take to Stazione San Pietro from the Stazione Trastevere. It is a couple of stops from Trastevere direction Cesano or Viterbo(usually binario 6) and I find it the best was to reach the Vatican. I do like to walk and it is true that if you are willing you can walk everywhere. The fresh market close by and the Pewex just down the street are extremely convenient for shopping. I will not hesitate returning for my next trip.

Upon arriving at the flat, Angela, was there to show us around the rental, she was friendly. The flat was spacious with a lovely terrace. The kitchen was well stocked with oils and such. It was a nice touch to find milk, bread, snacks, and a bottle of wine. Thank you, Laura! I think the flat is best suited for a couple with a child for the small bed in the office or even a child for the couch. The residents and the man who watches over the buildings were friendly. Laura had excellent communication from start to finish. The number 170 bus runs directly into town center and ends at termini. You can catch the trams within a 10 minute walk. On Sunday there is a market with all kinds of items and antiques up the road. The flat provided solace from the busy crowds and action of Rome center. There is a pizza takeaway across the street, it was quite tasty and steps away from the flat. Laura's flat is an excellent choice for a couple wanting to live like a local and away from the crowds. The terrace is one of the best features! Thank you, Laura!

Our stay at Laura's apartment was perfect. The apartment is cozy and the view from the rooftop is beautiful! The kitchen is fully equipped and easy to use. There are many restaurants and a couple markets nearby. There is also easy access to the bus and metro system. We highly recommend Laura's apartment!

Laura was very helpful and kind and was easily reachable on the phone. She even organised a parking space for us and guided us there when we arrived! The appartment was clean and beautiful, nicely decorated, with lots of space and a beautiful view from the terrace. There are lots of shops and pasticcerie nearby, and you can take the bus right into the city centre. You can buy public transport tickets which are valid up to one week, depending on how long you stay. Those tickets are sold at the bar at Trastevere station. One week is just too short for a magnificent city like Rome, so we'll likely be back one day!

Laura’s magnificent apartment is an exquisite place for a comfortable close-to-everything stay in Rome. Luminous, spacious, delightfully decorated with an oriental touch, the apartment with its vast terrace over the rooftops of Rome did not only make me feel at home, but on top of that very special! I stayed for over one month and in addition to the absolute exclusivity of being able to do morning sports, have breakfast and dine on a romantic 65sqm terrace, I had everything I needed at my disposal from a comfortable bed over an immense TV with endless channels in various languages, a vast selection of DVD’s (which I never even watched ;)) as well as great wifi to cooking utensils and facilities to the overly convenient all-gone-and-clean-immediately dishwasher!!! Laura and her wonderful sister Angela were in touch with me and I had all their contact details to be able to reach them whenever needed. The apartment couldn’t be positioned better in order to enjoy a central and yet true Roman life experience. It is very secure! Either the always smiling portier oversees who enters the apartment complex or the door is locked. Once inside the complex there are several entrances to the various apartment buildings which also need to be opened with a key. The residents are friendly and respectful. Just outside of the apartment complex one can find a bar where Romans have their coffee and cornetto combined with a little chat in the morning before heading to work as well as a super convenient take-away pizzeria (made fresh in 7 min, outstandingly tasty and unbelievably cheap). Viale Marconi boasts numerous shops, you would find the exact same ones in the main shopping area in the immediate centre of Rome, 3!!! rather big supermarkets are 2min away on foot! Trastevere train station and the tram stop are 5min walking away, and the bus stop of course right on Viale Marconi!! Believe me, you wouldn’t wanna stay anywhere else in Rome!!!! My favourite: The Porta Portese (flea) market that happens every Sunday and stretches for ca. 2km from close to the apartment to Porta Portese! The bargains I managed to make there were soooo cool!!! The prices are ridiculous, from pullovers over shoes to bags and sports clothes! Busy food stalls selling the famous Porchetta sandwiches eventually attracted me as well, my Porta Portese Sunday, my lively, exciting market morning all made secure by strolling around Carabinieri became sort of my tradition and I miss it!! I mentioned bus, tram and train, but for those good on foot absolutely everything in Rome including the Vatican can actually simply be walked to ;))) I had my bicycle with me as well, another fantastic way to explore the city, rental shops can be found in many areas! Biga Bike across the Ponte di Ferro (the iron bridge) is an excellent trustworthy rental place with friendly staff!! When staying at Laura’s place, you should cross the iron bridge to Viale Ostiense if not for...
