The space
INSIDE CASITA:
We offer a luxury king size bed, kitchenette, and large en-suite bathroom. Large mirrors in the bathroom. Open closet in the bedroom. A table by the window for eating or as a desk. Includes a very comfortable sofa and a few cushion blocks for resting your feet. Sofa and bed side tables for drinks etc.

The Zinfandel Eco-Dome Home is a single-story unit. However, from the bedroom area to the bathroom, there are two steps up and down to navigate.

This is our original Dome home. It features a spectacular ceiling exposing the Super Adobe Earthbag construction

OUTSIDE CASITA:

Our property is 6100m2 or about 1.75 acres of land. We only have 4 casitas available for rent. This gives every guest lots of space and privacy.

We have 3 community shared vegetable and herb gardens and several fruit orchards where we grow our own food. Guests are welcome to pick their own herbs, fruits, and vegetables

We have a community shared picnic area with (2) BBQ grills and picnic table and a lovely pool/spa

Guest access
Spacious parking areas at the property. A car is best to get around. Taxi and Uber are available but you will need patience and plan with ample time to avoid any timing issues.

Other things to note
ECO-CONSTRUCTION: The Zinfandel is built using Super Adobe Earthbag construction. Our casita is built from dirt sourced from our land and plastic bags. In short, you are basically living in a cave and can feel the incredible earth all around you. It is very spiritual and connecting. And that 25 feet ceiling is really awe-inspiring.

ECO-FRIENDLY: Our property is 100% solar-powered.

We also clean and reuse all grey and black water for our trees and shrubs using bio-sand filters, plants, and oxygen. We also harvest rainwater.

POOL/SPA USE: To use the pool/spa, you need to reserve a specific time upon your arrival. Minimum one-hour use per casita per day, two-hour maximum when available. The Spa is heated upon request. Need two hours' notice.

WIFI USE: Wi-Fi is satellite-based using the Starlink system. The casita uses a mesh system connected to our main router. Speeds average about 50 Mbps download. Outside the casita speeds average about 20 Mbps. You may email, surf ,the Net and Audio and Video stream.

Where you’ll be

Guadalupe Valley, Baja California, Mexico

This is a country community with plenty of space for strolls around the many streets. A stick is needed as there are plenty of loose dogs roaming around. There are several wineries within walking distance. There are many uphills if you enjoy more challenging walks.
