The House was very comfortable and clean.
Our experience was great.
Host was very welcoming and was quick to reply with any questions we had. We arrived very late and it was great that everything was ready and made available since we arrived so late. Location is great for Square and campus, but I am more familiar with Oxford so getting around is not a problem. Beds were clean and very comfortable to sleep in. Host was very pleasurable to do business with. Would definitely stay here again.
Our host was very welcoming, and provided all of the details we needed to get in and situated. My wife and youngest were arriving ahead of me - and arriving very late at night - so it was very reassuring that everything was just as expected. Beds were very comfortable, and we had plenty of space for a family of 5 (two kids in college, one in high school).
Nice patio out back for relaxing under the shade of the tall trees.
The location was only just a little tricky (and mainly because it was dark), but fortunately it's accurately depicted on Google Maps (even with a recent change to the street name).
Very convenient to the square in downtown, and to the Ole Miss campus.
We would definitely stay here again!
I'm originally from California. Until recently, I lived in New Orleans for the past seven years. As a result of my time in New Orleans, I have spent a lot of time in Oxford for the past few years.
When I am in Oxford, I enjoy stopping in at the Bottletree just off the Square for a cup or coffee and a pastry in the morning. Afterward, I like to walk up to Square Books to catch up on the latest authors and books particularly the featured local authors. In the evening, the Ravine is where I want to go for a superb dinner and excellent wine selection. During the weekend, it is a treat to sit out on their patio for a fantastic brunch. Although I currently live in the Sierra Nevada mountains, I still visit Oxford and I continue to enjoy all that it has to offer.
While there is no other city in the United States quite like New Orleans and I truly miss it, I am enjoying life in the mountains where there is an abundance of hiking and backpacking in the warmer months and skiing and ice hockey in the colder months.
