About this listing
A sunny flat with all mod cons in exciting Shoreditch. Lots of transport links and only a few minutes to lots of restaurants, bars and parks.
A really bright one bedroom apartment in Shoreditch / East London. New kitchen and bathroom, wood floors, balcony - all mod cons; washing machine, wireless internet etc and a small balcony.
It consists of a separate double bedroom with wardrobe and draws, a combined kitchen and lounge and separate bathroom with shower-bath. The lounge has two sofas and a selection of books and DVDs to borrow. The kitchen has pots, pans, plates, glasses and everything necessary for cooking, in addition to a washing machine.
The location is fantastic - only a 5 minute walk to Shoreditch High Street Station or Bethnal Green Station - on the East London Line and Central Line for underground. It's only a 10m walk to Liverpool Street Station making it very accessible to Stansted airport.
A short walk to all the cool bars / restaurants / markets / galleries of renown Brick Lane and Shoreditch. Only 15m by Underground to the museums of the West End or Olympic Stadium.
A lovely place to stay in a fantastic location.
The neighborhood has for many years been the creative hub of London, giving birth to many fantastic restaurants, galleries and spots to hang out.
Centrally located with fantastic public transport to get to the West End, Dalston, the Olympic stadium / Westfield and most other places
Pretty easy going common sense rules. We have neighbors so acting responsibly is important.
Smoking not allowed unfortunately - but there's a balcony so not too difficult.
I ask that you leave the house in the same state as when you arrived. If there's any problems just let me know.
Listing was spot on, the flat was amazing, spacious and convenient. Rene was very easy to deal with, very prompt with responses, and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.
I stayed 1 month in the apartment and really enjoyed it. The place was as described. Spacious apartment, big balcony door allowing plenty of light coming in. The neighbourhood is the big advantage of it. Lively but on the same time not noisy neighbourhood, that provided everything: grocery store, supermarket, hairdresser, bars, restaurants, fast food, ethnic cousin and two major London Sunday Markets (Flower market and Brick Lane Market) really close to the house. Both metro and buses served the neighbourhood (24 hour service bus) which was not far from central London. Really enjoyed this place. Would definitely recommend it.
I stayed in Rene's flat for six weeks. He's a very accommodating host and checked with me frequently to make sure everything was going well. The flat is really well situated for site seeing, less than ten minutes walk to the Central Line (which cuts right through the heart of London). Ten minutes the other way and you hit the Overground line. The pictures you see are spot on. The best thing about the flat is that it's really spacious and modern compared to what you might find in other areas of the city. It's also pretty quiet. You do get some street noise, and some weekend chatter outside, but considering how much is nearby - it's really not bad. And you never hear the neighbors above or below or next door. For me a slight negative was that some times I felt like I didn't quite have everything I wished to work with in the kitchen. You've got the basics, but no microwave and limited pots and pans or cutting tools - but unless you plan on doing a lot of cooking or staying for a long while, it's no big deal. The immediate area is a surprise with a lot of ethnic Bangledeshi stores. I loved having a couple of grocery stores just steps from the front door around the corner. Also you're really close to Brick Lane and a handful of great pubs. Also the BoxPark Pop-up Mall at the Shoreditch High Street Station - good food and fun, especially on weekends. To sum up, Rene's flat is comfortable and a great option to explore the city.
Renes flat has everything you can need to be confortable, its very good located in a cool and trendy area in east london.
I was with my baby for one and half month and we could enjoyed all facilities: wifi, fridge, whasing machine, spacious in the living room, the bath.
As we were in winter we found the flat quite warm which for us was good.
Sometimes the heating turns very hot but rene could help us to cool it down .
In the night time I can hear a litle bit of noise in the room but i could sleep well anyway. The matress and the bed size its just so good that can keep you in there.
I can recomend this flat because has spacious its good located and has everythjng that you can need also comunucation with rene was quite easy and he was helpful with us.
My fiancé and I had a great stay at Rene's apartment. It was comfortable and really convenient to get into town, especially the East.
Good neighbourhood to base yourself in with two mini supermarkets and lots of local corner shops, a ten minute walk to Liverpool St.
Rene was a great host and with the one or two minor queries we had, called and talked us through solutions straight away. Thanks Rene.
Accommodation in Reneś flat was very nice. Rene as host was very helpful and kind. I can really recommend it.
Despite checking-in problems, which were caused be previous tenants, we had a nice stay at Renes place. Rene took care of mentioned problems and refunded us for the inconvenience. Very good location in East London, 5min walk from Brick Lane.
Spacious apartment, bed with good mattress.

About the Host, Rene
I run a small-ish music based company, and travel a lot as a result. I'm mostly traveling between New York and London, so when I do get the rare holiday time off I prefer to not go anywhere.
I'm sure you'll enjoy crashing at my place
