A really bright one bedroom apartment in Shoreditch / East London. New kitchen and bathroom, wood floors, balcony - all mod cons; washing machine, wireless internet etc.
It consists of a separate double bedroom with wardrobe and draws, a combined kitchen and lounge and separate bathroom with shower-bath. The lounge has two sofas and a selection of books and DVDs to borrow. The kitchen has pots, pans, plates, glasses and everything necessary for cooking, in addition to a washing machine and dish-washer.
The location is fantastic - only a 5 minute walk to Shoreditch High Street Station or Bethnal Green Station - on the East London Line and Central Line for underground. It's only a 10m walk to Liverpool Street Station making it very accessible to Stansted airport.
A short walk to all the cool bars / restaurants / markets / galleries of renown Brick Lane and Shoreditch. Only 15m to by Underground to the the museums of the West End or Olympic Stadium.
The flat is very bright with lots of natural sunlight and a small balcony. A lovely place to stay in a fantastic location.
I really enjoyed staying at Rene's place, he was a great host and the flat was awesome! Great location! I truly recommend it! :)
Rene's flat is in a great position, easy to get to whatever part of London we wanted. So close to Brick Lane! Only 5 minutes to the tube station and a minute to the number 8 bus. We were very happy there - loved the decor. Missed not having a television - would have liked this on the nights we arrived home early.
Needed instruction sheet on use of appliances and where to put garbage etc. Also more towels would have been good - we were there for 10 days and there was no bath mat or hand towels.
Rene's flat in Florida Street is in an excellent location right on Shoreditch's doorstep with Broadway market, Columbia Road market, Spitalfields and the great vietnamese restaurants in Kingsland Road all close by - also close to transport (email hidden)rpool Street and an easy journey into the centre of London with the Nr 8 bus or Central line. Westfield shopping centre at Stratford is only two stops away on the tube.
Picking up the keys was straight forward and went smoothly and a friend of Rene's came to handover. The flat is one bedroom and is just as you see on the photos with the exception of the addition of a better table in the lounge/diner.
Rene is easy to communicate with and responds pretty quickly with any queries.
A great stay!
Rene's place was within walking distance to Bricklane, Shoreditch, Spitafeld Market and a few underground stations. The grocery store was right around the corner too.
The place was very cozy and warm with a very comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend!!
Rene's place is great! Good communication and was accommodating when we needed to extend our stay. Highly recommend!
Stayed at Rene's place for a month when I moved to London. His friend met us at the flat to let us in. His place is decorated with lots of awesome music memorabilia, and it's cool to be surrounded by platinum records! The apartment was clean and had pretty much everything we needed to live there a month. Had to adjust to living without a drying machine (what a spoiled American!), but I guess in general places in London don't have dryers.
The place is situated in Bethnal Green, right off of Bethnal Green Rd. Just a 5 minute walk to the tube, but I preferred taking the 8 bus during rush hour. There's a tesco express around the corner, and a bigger Tesco supermarket a few blocks away. Brick Lane is a 5 min walk where you can get every cuisine you can imagine.
Staying at Rene's place was a delight, and it was easy to communicate with him. I highly recommend this place!
The location of the flat was great! I used to live in the area and loved being able to walk to Brick Lane and Columbia Road. As with a previous guest, we were met by his friend when we arrived which was convenient. He was very responsive when contacted. Also, very understanding with a little appliance mishap (sorry again). I definitely had a good week!
Rene's flat was lovely and a great place to stay for 2 weeks while looking for a permanent flat! He had organized for a friend to meet us when we arrived, even though it was around 8.30pm and otherwise was very responsive via email for any questions we had.
My wife and I had a nice stay in Rene's flat. It's a great location and Shoreditch is really cool. The apartment is nice with great big double door/ windows off the living room. We suffered a bit with the uncharacteristic London heat but other than that had a great trip!
My parents stayed at Rene's for 4 nights. The transportation from the apartment to downtown was quick and comfortable. The flat itself was unfurtunately not that clean (neither the the kitchen, nor the bathroom) and kitchen was not equipped as good as in the description. The communication with Rene was alright, key change went smoothly.
