Kim was easy to communicate with and was flexible despite me being late, as seems to be my tendency. She oriented me to her home and answered any questions. My room was clean and uncluttered. The location was a bit further from downtown Portland than I had thought, 20-30 min away. This was a mistake on my part for not having looked more closely at where Hillsboro was on the map. In any case, being outside of downtown in a quiet and nice neighborhood was actually kind of refreshing. I used the MAX train my first day and found that I preferred it over driving. It's a little slower, and it did mean more walking, but I preferred it over dealing with downtown traffic. I'd bring a bike with me next time. Anyways, if you're looking for a nice, quiet spot outside of downtown without being too far, this is the place.
Kim was great. I stayed there for three days. The house is in a nice neighborhood. The cat was a bit shy and never came 'round to say hello, but that's okay. ;) I didn't have the opportunity to chat with Kim much because our schedules didn't line up, but she was very sweet whenever we did talk and very helpful. I definitely recommend staying with her.
Kim was a great host. She was very thoughtful and considerate regarding making my stay as comfortable as possible. I was a late arrival and I really appreciated how responsive and accommodating she was. I would stay with her again! Thanks!
We has a great stay at Kim's place! She wasn't home when we first arrived but she was easy to communicate with any questions we had. She was very friendly and easy to communicate with and even left out fruit and English muffins for us in the morning!
The bed wasn't terrible but also not the most comfortable night's seep I've had. Maybe I'm just spoiled with my king sized one at home. Otherwise, everything was really great!
If you want to stay with the nicest person in the world come stay with Kim. She's a lovely person and incredibly gracious and accommodating. Her home is clean and comfortable. I had a wonderful night's sleep.
I had a lovely brief stay at Kim's, and although she wasn't there, her hospitality was evident throughout her home. I would stay again the next time I'm in Hillsboro, and hope to meet her and her invisible cat, Wesley, then.
Kim was very welcoming even though very busy! Great location for me and would stay there again!
