Charming and spacious old-fashioned corner flat in central Prague (Nove Mesto district). Overlooking tennis courts (open to public) and a monastery garden, the flat is a block away from the Prague 2 Botanical Gardens and the Vltava River.
The flat has a fully equipped kitchen and a large bookcase-lined living/bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, cups, pots and pans. The flat also includes a washing machine, record player, and wireless internet but no television. There are clean towels by the bathtub and clean sheets on the bed. Located by Palackeho Namesti/Karlovo Namesti, you are conveniently located near 7 different tram lines as well as the B (yellow) Metro line. The flat is also an easy walk to Wenceslas Square, Mala Strana, and the National Theater. Down the street by the river is a huge farmer's market every Saturday perfect for picking up vegetables, cheeses, fruits, and homemade Czech breads, cakes, and pastries.
Looking forward to hearing from you. If you have any questions, just contact me!
Roman's place was just as cozy and lovely as it looks in the pictures. Roman was very communicative the entire time and gave me very detailed instructions on how to get to the apartment and all of the other practical little details. He messaged me before I arrived saying that the hot water unexpectedly stopped working and he couldn't get it fixed until Monday (I stayed for the weekend). He offered to give me a full refund if I wanted to cancel the reservation, but I decided to stay regardless, and he gave me a very generous discounted rate. Roman was very understanding and apologetic about this minor issue. Overall, I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at Roman's flat and would highly recommend to anyone!
Loved the apartment! perfect location just outside of the old town centre - so peaceful and quite but about a 15-20 minute walk from main attractions. Great selection of records and CDs, comfortable bed, amazing old furniture, nice and light but cosy and warm - highly recommend staying in Roman's here!
Roman was fantastic host. His home is very inviting and clean. It was not difficult to find and check-in/check-out was very smooth. Highly recommend!
This is a truly special apartment. Besides having a huge amount of character, everything has been set up for a traveler there on a short stay, from the room warm and cozy when I arrived to an umbrella there just in case. The apartment has a great feel to it. I absolutely recommend it.
We really felt at home in cosy, bright and charming Roman’s flat. The neighbourhood is very quiet not far away from the city center (walking or by tram).
We enjoyed our stay. Don’t miss the farmers market on Saturday just along the riverside.
I'm the owner of Shakespeare and Sons, an English and French book store in Prague. My wife and I spend most of our time in Berlin, where we have our other. This leaves our sunny and book-filled Prague flat empty most of the time.
