Welcome to Rocky Alpine Lodge, your serene mountain retreat perfect for families and groups seeking an unforgettable escape. Nestled near the slopes of Palisades at Alpine Meadows, our spacious and charming lodge offers all the comforts of home with a touch of rustic elegance.

Inside, you'll find multiple living areas designed for connection and fun. Gather around the beautiful stone fireplace in the main living room, challenge each other in the game room, or unwind in the indoor hot tub after a day of adventure. The open-plan kitchen and dining area are perfect for sharing meals and making memories.

Guest access
Guests will have private access to the entire home and its amenities. This includes the game room, hot tub, deck, and all living spaces. A few owner's closets and the room above the garage are locked and not accessible to guests.

Other things to note
To ensure a transparent and wonderful stay, please review these important details:
- Hot Tub Cleanings: We schedule hot tub cleanings ahead of all guest arrivals. In the event the hot tub is serviced on they day of your arrival, the spa may still be heating up do to a recent cleaning. If you notice the spa is not hot when you get to the house, please notify us so we can check with the company to confirm this is expected.
- No Air Conditioning: Like most homes in Tahoe, our cabin does not have AC. We do offer portable fans, ceiling fans, and our windows have screens to bring in the cool mountain air at night.
- Firewood: We do not provide firewood for the indoor fireplace. Guests can purchase it at local stores.
- Mountain Life: Dust and pollen can accumulate quickly on outdoor furniture. The BBQ and other outdoor furniture may be stored and unavailable during winter (typically October- May).
- Weather & Travel: A 4WD/AWD vehicle, chains, or snow tires may be required in winter.
- Uncontrollable Events: We are not responsible for uncontrollable circumstances such as poor air quality during wildfire season or snow during winter. We strongly recommend purchasing external trip insurance, as our cancellation policy will be upheld.
- Safety: The home is equipped with smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, and a first aid kit for your safety.

- Driveway fits 2 vehicles, 2 in the garage. (The driveway is short and steep and it is best suited for compact/mid-size vehicles; The garage is best suited for shorter vehicles)

Alpine Meadows is a quiet ski community tucked into the Sierras, but highly accessible via the 89 from either Truckee or Tahoe City. You are minutes away from the base of the mountain, and only a short drive to the bustling town of Truckee or the lake town of Tahoe City.

Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Valley) Village is a short drive as well, which has a quaint little village with plenty of restaurants, shopping, bars, and things to do.

At the beginning of Alpine Meadows road, you will find the River Ranch, which is a great spot for dining, happy hour, live music, and watching people flow down the Truckee River in the summer time. You will also find a shopping center with a small cafe.

The closest super market is either SaveMart in Truckee or Safeway in Tahoe City. Downtown Truckee is 11 miles away and offers a ton of restaurants, shopping, bars, locale events, and more.
