About this listing
If you want to enjoy a sunny apartment, old style high ceiling with huge windows, in one of the oldest and nicest central neighborhood of Koukaki near Acropolis, with a great variety of restaurants, bars and shops around, this is the place for you!
Welcome to my easy modern youth apartment in Acropolis' neighborhood Koukaki, in the heart of Athens.
It is a 3 room apartment in a traditional high ceiling house, sunny and cozy with a small cute balcony. It has two bedrooms with double beds pull out sofas type and a living room in the middle. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and there is also wi-fi. There is an Air-condition in one of the bedrooms and a fan in the other and has independent heating.
Ιt is situated on Filopappou hill, next to Acropolis, in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. In the area around you can find supermarkets, shops, bookstores, pharmacies, bakeries and banks for your basic needs. Every Friday there is the local fruit and vegetable market in the neighborhood street.
In 5 minutes walking distance you are under Acropolis hill!
Within walking distance there are nice restaurants and bars in the new hip area of Ano Petralona but also in the pedestrian street Georgiou Olympiou in Koukaki. The nearest metro is Siggrou-fix, 10 minute walk. There are also trolley buses from Syntagma and other central points.
The whole apartment is rented, so whether 2 or 4 people the apartment is fully rented.
Interaction with Guests
As I dont live in Athens my interaction with the guests is only through email and phone.
Other Things to Note
The house is strictly for up to 4 people not more.
Getting the keys: As I don't live in Athens, I arrange with my cousin either to wait for you at the house when she can or leave the keys at a nearby restaurant where you would have to pick them up. On your departure just leave the keys inside the apartment.
Because it is a residential area please also note that Greeks have a siesta and between 2.30 and 5.30pm it is by law quiet hours also after 10.30 at night.
Hello guests! welcome to my home, please treat it as your own! First of all I would like you to take care of the neighbors and not to make noise or parties. Because most of the times I will not be there on your arrival or departure, please take some notice on the following easy requests:
Only hand and kitchen towels are provided so for the shower please bring your own. Before leaving please check and empty the fridge from any food left, wash any dishes that you have used, check that the hot water heating button is off, and throw away the garbage.
Please use the heating or the a/c with consideration, 20 degrees is reasonable temperature for winter and 30 for summer, also dont leave it on when you are not there as it consumes a lot of energy which is very expensive.
Please also dont put any hot cups directly on the wooden tables as they burn the varnish and leave marks. And finally please put some water to the plants when in summertime.
Thank you for your consideration and have a nice stay!
