The cottage is an hour away from the center of the old presbytery of Eräjärvi. The cottage downstairs is a cohesive space. In the same space is a kitchenette, a fireplace, a dining table, a couch, and a single bed. Comfortably accommodates 5 people. If needed, 1-2 more beds can be added downstairs. A sleeping loft includes one 120cm wide double bed and two single beds. Water is brought from the main house to a portable water pan, and the dry toilet is located in a neighboring building.

The space
The property is located in a scenic setting with views of the many kinds of plants and animals. The surroundings are peaceful and the sound scene is mostly made up of natural sound. The yard district is at the end of the road, confined to the forest and the shore of Lake Erä.

There's a dock and a similar swim. Sauna has no shower, electricity or running water. The water can be heated successfully in the pot and the lake water moves to the sauna in a position. Sauna, kayak and fire pit are shared with tenants and hosts.

The cottage has a fridge, a small electric stove, a small electric oven, a toaster, a coffee maker, a kettle, and the most common kitchen utensils and cutlery.

The cottage has underfloor heating. In addition to underfloor heating, the cottage is heated with a fireplace if necessary.

underfloor heating of the cottage is usually sufficient to keep the cottage at a comfortable temperature when the outside temperature is zero on either side. If you want, the cabin adds warmth and vibe by making a small fireplace. We will heat the cottage ready for guests, so you do not need to enter the cold cottage.

Our yard area is lit, but it gets really dark outside (with a lakeside sauna, for example). So, be prepared with things like headlights or flashlights. On fall nights, it's getting really nice to watch the stars in the dark.

heating the cottage floor isn't always enough to keep the cottage warm, so you'll need to use a circular air fireplace to increase heating. We heat the cottage ready for guests, but during the visit, guests are responsible for heating the fireplace themselves. The fireplace doesn't heat up for long periods of time, so when it gets cold, it's important to keep a small fire pit consistently. In the winter, washing dishes outdoors can be uncomfortable, so we recommend purchasing a dishwashing service from us in the winter (which has more information about below).

In winter, the water in the sauna is removed from the open-air at the end of the pier. The patron saint will make sure the opening is available. It's also possible to take a dip in the open-air.

Extra bed is 10€/extra bed/night.

You can either bring your own linens or rent them with us for 10 €/person/visit.

We provide hand towels and dish towels for guests, but larger bath towels are not included in the cabin.

Dishwashing is done by hand in cabin patio dishes. You can also buy a dishwasher service from us for 10€/time. If you purchase a dishwashing service during your stay, we'll immediately replace the dishes to your place. If needed, work out a dishwashing service with your host.

Final cleaning is €20 (included in the service fee). Though we'll do the final cleaning for you, take care of these before you leave:

- Do dishes or buy dishes from us for 10€.
Place the trash in the trash can. -
Collect bottles and cans into a bag.
- Move the furniture into place.

- Get rid of the groceries you brought in.

Pets are welcome under certain conditions. If you're bringing a pet or more, let us know with your reservation. Our dogs and our cats are used to being in the open-air courtyard, so please be aware of this as you consider bringing your pet.

If you bring your dog, please agree to check with us at the beginning of your stay to see how your dog can manage with us at the beginning of your stay. Then on a case-by-case basis, how to handle dogs, can be agreed upon on a case-by-case basis.

Please only bring us the dogs that tend to interact with other dogs. Our dog is an unkempt male who is very friendly and knowledgeable about unfamiliar dogs.

You can host a cat as long as your cat is out in the harness or stays inside a cottage during the stay. Since we already have two cats who are traveling free on the property and are turquoise, no other cat can get away.

can be scheduled on a case-by-case basis.

On a 6.5 hectare plot, you will certainly find peace of mind, even though the host is almost always at home. You don't run into a lot of neighbors around here, but you can meet a lot of different animals for sure.
