Facts about this place: Wonderful parents who own the house (son doesn't live in the city, but manages it through AirBnB and (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)). We didn't get to spend much time with them since they headed out of town for the week we were there, but they were very sweet and offered some suggestions based on our interests. Thanks, again! It was a safe neighborhood and we didn't mind being left alone. Place was very clean when we arrived. Cleaning person didn't like cleaning very much when we were there (maybe because the owners were out of town), so we opted to not have the room cared for each day. We cleaned up the fallen fruit and fed it to the cows, so we weren't tripping/slipping on it (consider feeding the cows yourselves when visiting! What a joy!). There were fruit bats eating from the fruit trees every night and my husband LOVED watching them! Place is in a nice neighborhood, but not center of (URL HIDDEN) it's a bit more expensive to get rickshaws to all the places you want to go. The home and neighborhood are very nice, though. :-) Beware the neighborhood dogs. It's not a place to stay if you're afraid of dogs. We LOVE animals, especially dogs, but for some reason the local dogs are a bit aggressive and one in particular frightened me with aggressive behavior toward me when we were walking down the street (it seemed to think I was a threat when I looked at it and smiled?!). Some of them chase after cars, too, barking and biting and they have been hurt (many have broken legs, which is really sad). Anyway, be careful and even though many of them are sweet and won't hurt you, they're not like normal pet dogs. If you like visiting temples, there's a lovely small one right around the corner. We liked it a lot. The locals living in the neighborhood are friendly. It was nice meeting some of them when we were out walking. Bhuj is great for local tourist attractions, but also for heading down to Mandvi for the day or out to the Rann of Kutch and visiting the tribal villages. As the ad says, there's no food or kitchen use available. So, if you're only in town for a night or two it probably won't matter to you. Breakfast for us was a challenge since we're pure veg and the options nearby weren't healthy or tasty. There is a great place nearby for dinner, however, called Viram Garden Restaurant where the locals eat and it's reasonably priced. Hotel Prince was good food, but a bit more costly. There's no a/c, so we kept the fans running and the windows open. There were surprisingly very few mosquitoes! :-) The Internet worked great 95% of the time (it was only slow for a day after there was a power outage, but we were headed out the next day and didn't need to have it checked. I'm...

I loved this place. Chirag's parents are so kind and helpful. Quiet neighborhood but only a short rickshaw ride from the center. Large, clean room. Definitely recommended.

The host was not able to be there, but was extremely attentive calling/texting to let me know how to arrive and meet his cousin. The host also connected me with a terrific textile tour guide who took me to very remote places not always open to visitors. The BEST chai I've ever had is right around the corner-- I stumbled on it just before the host was telling me to go there. Incredible! The place is centrally located with easy and safe access. The place was clean and comfortable and I highly recommend it!

The room is spacious and very well maintained. The room is in a quiet neighbourhood, but still very close to the main attractions. After a long day of travelling and sight-seeing, one can get a good night's sleep here. We were three adults, and it was large enough for us. There is a large terrace in front of the room which is very nice. Chirag was very helpful and provided very useful tips over the phone. His parents are very friendly and kind. We reached very late the first night, and had to leave very early one day, and they were awake to help us. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The Chauhan's room is the only space on the top of their house. It's clean, private with separate lockable entrance, and a walk out roof deck which offers good views. The Chauhan family went above and beyond to make our stay great. Very nice people. Lovely home. I highly recommend staying here and will be back.

The place was quite clean, the room nice & big. When we traveled to Bhuj, although it was really hot in the afternoon, the room was very cool & comfortable. Quite a calm locality. Although Chirag wasn't there, he was very prompt in communicating and made sure everything was in place. Overall a good experience.
