A very practical option for those wishing to connect to or from the Pontine Islands. The place is ideally located at walking distance between the train station and the harbor. Reggina is very helpful and friendly. And the price is below that of hotels with the lowest rates and smaller rooms (and much nicer attention from Reggina). No brainer!
We only stayed one night, cause we were on a trip to Ponza, but if we had more time we really loved to stay a bit longer. Reggina is very nice and lovely Person who done the best to make our trip more comfortable. She even picked us up by car at the trainstation. The apartment is clean and there´severything you need. So if we come once again to Formia we prefer to stay there.
Reggina was a lovely host. She was very sweet and went out of her way to make our stay more comfortable (one example: we were there on the hottest week of the year, and we only had one fan to share between a couple in the room and a friend in the living room. When we came back at night, Reggina had produced a second fan that was waiting for us, alongside clean linen and everything we could need for breakfast).
The flat is clean, has a nice shower and is easy reach by car to the beaches near Gaeta.
The only problem is the lack of parking and that there is no internet connection in the flat (although Reggina once more made up for it by letting our friend, who had to send an urgent work-related e-mail, use the internet at her own appartment next door).
Overall, it's a very good base to explore the lovely beaches and towns in the region.
