Aileen was away on holiday during my stay.
On arrival I was kindly greeted by Aileen's Mother who ensured I was happy with the detailed house instructions left for me.
The apartment is lovely, spacious, clean and really comfortable. It's situated in a pretty village and I found the locals most helpful while out and about.
The ensuite guestroom is tastefully decorated with very pretty bed linen, large wardrobe, but most importantly the bed and pillows are so comfortable.
Aileen left a nice selection of food in the fridge for breakfast, thank-you Aileen.
Aileen is the most friendly natural host. We loved our three night stay with her. The riverfront at the back garden is delightful. Leighlinbridge is a quiet little retreat and Aileen's place made it even more so. Aileen was exceptionally helpful in interpreting Irish culture for us (and language) and even helping out in our family history research by pointing us to the local church etc. She was most attentive whilst leaving us completely independent as we liked. Accommodation was simply but extremely adequate, clean, warm and comfortable. Highly recommended. Well done Aileen.
Beautiful apartment and Aileen is a very lovely host! The bed was sooo comfortable!
This place is excellent! In the end we were not able to meet Aileen but she was very accommodating, even from afar :) She left the key in a convenient location, provided nice suggestions for things to do/places to go & had some breakfast treats waiting for us in her fridge. Her home is truly lovely, with a view of the Leighlin Bridge and a shared greenspace to relax in. The actual accommodations are deluxe (nice bed, good linens, spacious bathroom) & we were as comfortable as we could be. Thanks for the great place to relax towards the end of a long & lovely vacation...
Aileen was such a great host! We felt like home.
She gave us perfect directions to find the apartment, although there are few house numbers in Ireland.
Her apartment is beautiful. Very spacious and comfortable.
Our room was as described: spacious, perfect clean and cozy. The little trick with the toilet flush was found quickly and no problem at all.
Aileen served us a delicious Irish breakfast every morning. Again many thanks for this! And she provided us with all the information: where to go, what to do, how to... etc.
We fully recommend her apartment and Aileen as a host.
A lovely, cozy room and really good company.
Leighlinbridge is a nice spot to discover the Southeast of Ireland from and we had a great and sunny! weekend staying in the appartment. Aileen is a perfect host and it was a real pleasure to spend time with her and her friends.
The apartment is stunning. it is very spacious, light despite being ground floor. The beds are very comfortable and everything was very ordered and clean. We were welcomed warmheartedly and Aileen had prepared information about the apartment and the town. Even though she was about to go on vacation she took time to explain many things. And then we forgot my brother's hat inside and she offered to send it to us.
