Apartment was clean, stove does not work, only a couple of hot plates to cook on so, be aware of that. If you are hoping to stay in and cook to save on meals this might not be the place for you. But the kitchen was workable with the hotplates, toaster oven, and microwave. Neighborhood was nice enough, super close to public transportation, nice market around the corner. We had one little issue with the plumbing and Rox was on top of it. I would stay here again.
Rox's apartment is great! We couldn't ask for more. We, group of 6, can comfortably fit in the apartment, where we had good sleeps, nice hot shower, well-equiped kitchen to do some cookings. It really had everything we need, and the price for all of these was super reasonable.
The apartment also very easy to reach, since it's only 3-4mins walk from the subway. And it only takes 25mins to reach the downtown Manhattan.
Rox, as the host, was very nice. She welcomed us when we checked in, and explained everything we want to know. Also, she gave us $30 as the compensation for not making the fridge full of food, because she was afraid we won't use those foods and it will turn into waste.
Will definitely stay again in Rox's if we ever get a chance to visit New York in the future.
Rox was a great host, my family and I were very confortable on the apartment, we were 6 people. I will stay again there for sure. Rox, thanks for all your attentions and guidance.
Rox was very hospitable and easy to work with. The apartment was as indicated. In person it is a bit darker than appears in the photos, but it was conveniently located by the subway station and had everything we needed. It was a bit more north than I would have liked it to be, but the proximity to subway and the value pricing was great.
Rox was a lovely host for the group of five of us who stayed at her place. The apartment is clean and spacious and easy to get anywhere on transit (as long as the express train is running!). Washington heights was a new neighbourhood to me- and somewhere I would absolutely return to explore.
The place was nice and in accordance with the pictures published. The building was a bit old but the flat was clean, quite big (we were 5 persons and had enough place) and well situated by its proximity with the subway (1 block from the subway - 20 min to reach south manhattan). Concerning Rox, we really appreciate her availability (always available by phone) and her kindness. We were well received for our first time in NY. I definitly recommand this place for a short stay in NY.
Rox is kind and careful host, we were satisfied we could stay in her beautiful apt. Rox take care about your comfort and always is in contact with you. Apt is perfect too. There are two bedrooms and roomy living room and everything is work. We are glad we could stay there, we are five members family and apt was comply to us in every step. Subway is close the apt (2min) and it takes around 10-15 min to Times square when you go wih express. So we enjoyed our stay and could recommend for next visitors. Thank you, Rox!

I'm a film and theater actor / producer, partner in my family's restaurant, and a kids dance instructor. I've had a lot of experience providing customer service and satisfaction to patrons. Oh right I forgot,, I'm a club date singer too. One could argue and say I'm a wedding singer but Adam Sandler gave us such a bad wrap that I go with the hipper terminology. I could spend hours and days upon end in any Museum, Movie, Theater or Restaurant.
I love my family, art, movies, dance, literature, history, sciences, culture, traveling and a slew of super-etc.
FIve things I can't live without:
2.) Movies, & performances and my slew of super etceteras
3.) All of my Apples
4.) Peace & quiet
5.) The Earth, Sun, Moon & Stars
New Pictures!!! The apartment has had a small face lift check out the new photos and see! Being an airbnb host is great so far and I really like to make my guests feel as at home as they can be. Rearranging the furniture I have placed two beds in one room. By the end of the year I hope to have another new set of photos with all upgrades made to the apartment to provide my guests with the utmost comforts and freedoms they find at home.
