We have some of the best up-and-coming restaurants that have been ‘discoveries’ both nationally (Esquire) and internationally (Michelin). We have world-class, national competition winning coffee shops, as well as famed breweries and distilleries, and board shapers.

We are located blocks from one of the most convenient intersections in all of San Diego County -- the 5 and 78 freeways, giving you amazing access to things like Stone Brewery and the Safari Park in Escondido, wine tasting in Temecula, and surfing at Old Man's or Trestles.

We are also walking distance to all the great small businesses in South O and North Carlsbad, the Coastal Rail Trail’s literally out front for scenic biking, with Jim next door amped to provide anything from your most basic cruiser to your the top of the line performance bike.

Every day you head south you’ll be cruising through Buena Vista Lagoon, home to hundreds of protected species, and the first ecological preserve in the Golden State. We recommend checking out its Nature Center.

Depending on the type of food you like, we have everything from Cream of The Crop across the street and the Plot for more natural goods & vegan options, to Municipal Taco right next door (opening soon), and tons more options as you move a few blocks north or south.

We’ve got live music and drinks up the street at Pour House, or jump on the 5 for a 20 minute ride down to see who’s playing The Belly Up in Solana Beach.

Depending on your level of shred, we’ve got much more welcoming breaks at places like the harbor, myriad peaks south of the pier, as well as the Carlsbad jetties and reefs to get your stoke on. And if it's firing, jump on the 5 and head north to Trestles or south to Blacks.

We've even got epic whalewatching and deep sea fishing right out of Oceanside Harbor, minutes away, as well as the best pier between Ocean Beach and LA.
