I am very sad to have to cancel Astrid's reservation. I received a notice from my strata council stating that I am not allowed to rent my apartment for short-term stays so I had to cancel his reservation and change the minimum stay allowed on my apartment. I offered Astrid my help in finding another place so I hope he has a great stay in Vancouver next month!
My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at Ying Ying’s apartment. Her place was a perfect home base for us to explore Vancouver and it was near plenty of shops and restaurants. Ying Ying is a bank of knowledge, she gave us a crash course on Vancouver from where to eat and what attractions were worth going too. Unfortunately our stay was short. Next time we we’re planning a trip to Vancouver, we will definitely look up Ying Ying again.
My family (Party of 5 and 1 infant) stayed at Ying Ying's lovely apartment for 3 nights. Her apartment was easy to find and is really not that far from Central Vancouver. Ying Ying greeted all of us with open arms and made us familiar with our surroundings. She also highlighted places to go for restaurants, landmarks, etc. Very informative and her time was definitely appreciated. The converted 2 BR apartment was clean and we had no complaints. Now, I really want to mention how Ying Ying went out of her way to fulfill a request for us. We forgot our daughter's stroller at home and asked if Ying Ying knew a place to rent one. She told us that she would check around for us and a few hours later dropped a stroller at the apartment, which made our stay in Vancouver a lot easier with our daughter. That is what I call great customer service! Ying Ying is very accommodating and the communication via e-mail worked out fantastically. My mother in-law forgot one of her bags at her apartment when we left, and Ying Ying was more than willing to ensure that the bag would be returned to us.
Thanks for a great stay at your apartment!
Ying Ying is a wonderful and very uncomplicated host. Whatever wishes we had, she made them become possible.
We had 8 people traveling in Vancouver, and we stayed at Ying Ying Lee's apartment. It suited us very well, and we all fit there easily. She had also made a guide for Vancouver with all the relevant information about taxis, public transportation, places of interest etc. Couldn't have dreamt of better experience.
My family and I stayed at Ying Ying's for almost a week and it was very comfortable and a great overall stay. Ying Ying met us when we got in about 11pm and gave us a great intro to Vancouver. The Welcome Manual was fantastic and included all the info we needed. Ying Ying is a great host and very attentive. She emailed several times during our stay to make sure everything was ok. The apartment was well furnished. However, my brother found the futon slightly uncomfortable because of the buttons on it.
Nice quiet location with everything you need close by. We had no problems with parking and everything was in the apartment that we needed. Ying Ying met us and gave us the run down of the place and the local venues. Awesome job! Try the WonTon soup at On Lok, just a bit west on Hastings Street. Or Sushi Naniamo

About the Host, Ying Ying
My name is Ying Ying and I was originally born in Singapore. I moved to Canada (Richmond) with my family in 1990 and I love it!
I've been in Vancouver since I moved into my apartment in 2005. Vancouver is a wonderful city and I love sharing things about it to visitors and guests.
I started my own consulting business specializing in travel concierge and event planning/production. I also do social media consulting for individuals and small businesses, helping them figure out what social media means to them and how they can utilize it.
My style statement is Sophisticated Adventure, and that is how I want to live my life. There are many things I love but the #1 thing I would have to say is I love is travel. If I win the lottery tomorrow, the first thing I would do after paying off my bills is to take off on a plane!
I look forward to hosting you at my apartments!
