This modern and newly renovated honeymoon beach retreat has breathtaking panoramic ocean and coastline views. Lounge in the daybed while gazing at the sweeping vista from Anini reef to Kilauea Lighthouse. Some have said "it feels like being on a ship at sea" as they witness whales breaching in the ocean and waves peeling on the reef from this magical location. A rare penthouse unit with high ceilings, views from every room, even the famous Bali Hai from the deck. Truly a couple's dream!

The space
WELCOME to SEA AND SKY KAUAI at SEALODGE, Princeville...the perfect place for a romantic getaway, honeymoon, anniversary or surfer's retreat! This oceanfront condo is a third floor penthouse suite with high ceilings and large windows overlooking the ocean, reef and coastline. It has recently been completely renovated so everything in this place is brand NEW! All flooring, fixtures, kitchen appliances and cabinets, furniture, bathroom vanity and tile have been newly replaced with luxury and quality in mind.
One main bonus is the Air Conditioning in the living room, which keeps you cool and comfortable when it's hot outside. There are many modern features such as free WiFi, two extendable smart TVs with basic cable, charging stations in every room, and an Alexa Echo show 5 (that can play music, give weather reports or current events upon command). The living room also has a cozy daybed nook surrounded by seafront facing windows where you can relax and feel as if you are floating in the ocean looking down at the colorful Anini reef below.
The coastal themed rooms are bright, comfortable and dotted with artwork from local artists; little paintings of nearby landscapes, beach scenes and surfers decorate the walls along with some abstract pieces in ocean color themes.
And if it's rainy? Don't worry! Relax in the daybed and watch the storm outside or turn around and watch the flat screen smart TV that extends and swivels from the wall. The entry cabinet is stocked with games/cards. There is also another cabinet which hosts a plethora of Hawaiiana books covering many subjects like the flora and fauna of Hawaii, local history and cultural information, fictional Hawaiiana, even books on lei making and shells. Additionally there is a shelf that includes a "take one, leave one" book trade so feel free to grab a book!
Another feature is the lanai (deck) which also has an ocean view and is a great place to kick back and drink your coffee while soaking up the ocean breeze. You can even see the Bali Hai to the left in the distance.
Finally, this 566 square foot home has all the amenities you could imagine wanting for your stay. A fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to cook from the basics to the extras (see list of amenities below), plus local cookbooks & cocktail recipes, and festive tiki mugs & coconut bowls.

Guest access
The best way to get around the island is via rental car, so you can take full advantage of your time on Kauai. Uber and public transport are not recommended options for getting around as they are limited. Parking is close by to the unit and is free.

Other things to note
Please NOTE:
This listing is designed for two adults. No kids, or infants.
It does not have the baby proof facilities. If you continue to book, your reservation could be cancelled.
We do our utmost to ensure that you have a wonderful stay at our condo! However please note that this is a tropical location, and there are some things that are beyond our control!

In the tropics, you may find:
Cockroaches
Ants
Spiders
Geckos crawling on the walls

We are just letting you know that these are all possibilities! We have regular pest control service and even schedule extra services (3x the recommended servicing) yet still, we cannot help it if cockroaches fly in from the outside or ants crawl through the cracks to find food. We apologize in advance for these possible occurrences but since Hawaii is a tropical island filled with these critters, they may find a way in.
Unfortunately, we cannot refund your stay if you see any of these critters, so if you will be traumatized if you see one, we don’t want your holiday to be ruined so you will want to reconsider staying here in that case.
The good news is….no snakes or deadly poisonous creatures!!!

WELCOME TO PRINCEVILLE!
Named after the Hawaiian crown Prince Albert Kamehameha, Princeville is one of the most beautiful and quaint ocean view resort communities in all of Hawai'i. With dramatic cliffs overlooking the sea and a backdrop of lush, tropical mountains often boasting several waterfalls, Princeville is situated on the bluffs overlooking Hanalei Bay and the distant Makana (Bali Hai) Mountain. Sealodge resort condominiums (the location of your condo "Sea and Sky Kauai") are perfectly perched on a bluff overlooking the crystal blue ocean and famous Anini Beach reef. Sealodge units are famous for their incredible views of the coastline, and are situated at the end of a small private road. Sealodge features a swimming pool, an outdoor BBQ picnic area, and a property with grassy bluffs where you can stroll and take in the expansive views. It also has its very own private and secluded Sealodge Beach, at the end of an approximately 10-20 minute (0.7 mile) hiking trail which is steep, rocky and narrow.
There are many things to do in Princeville and the nearby environs: world-class golfing, running on their new paths along Ka haku road, ziplining, hiking, horseback riding, snorkeling, surfing and visiting many of the nearby beaches. Princeville Shopping Center hosts restaurants, shopping boutiques, a grocery store, and small art gallery. It even has an "Art Night" with local artisans once a month (usually the 2nd Sunday). Only a 10 minute drive from Princeville is the famous beach town of Hanalei, which has even more shopping boutiques, restaurants, art galleries and another grocery store. Princeville itself has many beaches such as Hideaways, the beach in front of the St. Regis Hotel (currently under construction) which is accessible from a trail starting at the Hanalei Bay Resort Hotel, and Anini Beach - accessible from a hiking trail near the Westin.
