Centrally located in the Overlook neighborhood of North Portland (NoPo) my home is walking distance to great shops, restaurants, grocery stores,
the Max train line and 2 bus lines. Welcome !

The space

Welcome to my North Portland garden home. I am centrally located in one of Portland's oldest neighborhoods in North Portland - Overlook- NoPo.

You will be walking distance to both the North Mississippi and North Killingsworth business/arts districts and 5 minutes drive to the Alberta Arts neighborhood. Downtown PDX is just 10 minutes by car. You will have easy access to public transportation both Max train and bus and highways I-5 and 84.

Groceries -easy - A short Max/ train ride to New Seasons at Arbor Lodge or walk on over to Cherry Sprout on N. Albina street for local fresh produce and a great assortment of wines.

For dining and shopping, a short walk around the corner to Killingsworth and many options - The Hop and Vine mixes a good cocktail to enjoy while waiting for dinner to be served. Food carts are located at the end of the block where you can grab ice cream from Scoop - or Sushi at Mio's. After dinner stroll the Overlook bluff for sunset.

Or head over to either the Mississippi Arts or N. Williams district for amazing choices of great restaurants ( my favs Tasty & Sons, Lincoln and Interurban), cafes, shops and music venues.

My home is 3 bedrooms with 2 full baths - claw foot soaking tub in the upstairs master bath. Cozy living and dining room for gathering friends or napping after a meal in front of the fire. The house was re-built in 1998 and maintains all historic charm with unique reclaimed wood throughout.

You will be able to enjoy outdoor dining all year with tables in the front and back gardens for you to choose which mood is best (when raining stay on the covered lighted porch). And the fire pit for after dinner marshmallow roasting or star gazing.

Internet available and ample parking for cars or bikes.

Consider this your home away from home. Vinny and Sal (the cats) will welcome you with a purrrrrrrrr.

Please include information about yourself when you make an inquiry. Thanks for checking my site and feel free to email me any questions you have. I look forward to welcoming you soon.

When the house is not rented out, the owner and her son live here - with vinny and sal.

Danielle's home met all our needs. We traveled to Portland for a conference and were able to take a short Max train ride from Danielle's house to the conference center. It was so nice to come back to a comfortable home at the end of the day! The neighborhood was a safe place to park our car and there are some great restaurants and breweries close by. Danielle was great at communicating and was very patient while we worked out payment from our institution in a foreign country. If you're looking for an accessible spot outside of Portland's downtown, Danielle's home is a great option.

Danielle's house offers accommodations that are comfortable for guests and is very accessible for exploring Portland. The front porch/deck is especially nice to relax on while enjoying a nice neighborhood setting. Two full size bathrooms are a real plus when everyone was getting ready for an event. The kitchen was of sufficient size to allow 3 people at once to prepare meals. Overall everyone was happy with staying at Danielle's home. Thanks.

Danielle's home is lovely and very comfortable. It's clear she's put a lot of care and attention into the space, from the beautiful landscaping to the art and decor. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, the bedrooms are quiet, there's a great bathtub. The location is great, too, with an easy walk to several good cafes and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Such a relaxing weekend getaway for our family! Close to downtown and NE Portland sights & experiences. Sal and Vinny were a real highlight for us. Home was immaculate & charming. We would definitely return.

Staying at Danielle's house was amazing. Her house was vey comfortable and inviting. The main bus line is two blocks away, and the Max line is a short walk as well. Grab breakfast at Milk Glass. The proprietors there are warm and inviting as well. It was a great stay.

I am a licensed Acupuncturist and active single Mom. My 16 year old son and i enjoy skiing in the Winter up on the amazing Mt Hood. Biking within the neighborhood and beyond is easy and super fun. Hiking in the Gorge and our local Forest Park take us to magical waterfalls and lush green forests in the Spring. Summer months we are busy building sandcastles and boogie boarding at the Oregon coast or Sauvies Island. A paddle or float on a nearby river is a great way to spend a summer day here in Portland. We love lazy rainy Sundays at home in front of the fire with our cats and walking to the carts for a late afternoon ice cream treat. You will be able to do all this and more from our cozy home in NoPo.
