A unique and magical place in the heart of the city that gives the most exciting feeling that a guest can experience in Venice: the feeling of living like royalty within the walls of the most prestigious Palazzetto in the city.
We had a wonderful stay at Palazzett Pisano. We even got a better suite at no extra cost. We were met by a very nice young woman who made us feel very welcome. The suite had a lot for fresh flowers and was just amazing, with a breathtaking view of the Grand Canal.
This is an incredible building--it's like staying in a museum. Our room on the Grand Canal had these wonderful windows that opened wide with a sill to sit on and watch the boats on the canal. Very memorable. It happened that the two nights we were there, the Palazzetto was hosting weddings--they seem to do a lot of events--and it was very noisy in our room. After the wedding parties left, it quieted down, but our room was right across from the office, and there was still activity going on that we could hear in the room. For the price we were paying to stay here, I was expecting a luxury experience, and unfortunately, this noise issue detracted from that. Otherwise, it was great--the room and public areas were other-wordly, and the staff was attentive and friendly.
We loved our time at the Palazzetto Pisani. Agnesso, Rhona and Luca could not do anymore to make us feel welcome and have a relaxing stay. Breakfast was delicious and when you combine this with the lovely palace dining room setting, the music drifting in from the nearby music academy, the sunlight coming in from the open balconies and the friendly banter it becomes a wonderful experience. Our little 2 year old boy Laurie loved exploring the palace and Rhona went out of her way all the time to speak with him and bring a smile to his face. Take the opportunity to stay at the Palazzetto - a great location is made special by the people who take care of you.
