Welcome to our beautiful, comfy Austin oasis -- perfect for friends, family reunions, & more! Huge, airy common spaces, a stylish game room, a gorgeous back deck, newly furnished everything, and with 3200 ft, there’s plenty of room for the whole crew. Walk out back to explore acres of stunning wildlife & trails bordering an enormous public park.

Nestled in a family-friendly, tree-filled neighborhood close to all Austin has to offer while still feeling away from it all--a perfect home base!

The space
You’ll start to relax the moment you enter the house. Floor-to-window ceiling windows open onto a spectacular woodlands view, filling the open floor plan kitchen and living room with sunlight. You’ll feel like you’re in the middle of the forest as you sip your morning coffee in the breakfast nook, or watch the sunset with a margarita on the spacious deck. Settle in for a movie night with the big-screen 4k TV and surround sound system, or head upstairs to play pool, darts, connect-four or catch a sports game in the game room.

Where will you be sleeping? We’ve got five full bedrooms, and one bonus space that can be used for extra guests. The master bedroom located on the main floor has its own big 4k TV, a Peloton bike, a private bath with jacuzzi tub and shower, and an enormous walk-in closet. The nursery with crib and two pullout twin beds is also on the main floor on the other side of the house. Upstairs, there are three full bedrooms and a bonus room next to the game room. The bedrooms have queen beds and good-sized closets, and the bonus room has a pullout twin bed and room for the queen air mattress if needed. There are two full bathrooms upstairs, one of the hall and one jack n’ jill bathroom shared between two of the bedrooms.

With 3200 square feet, plus a big deck, there’s plenty of space for everyone to kick back and relax - but if you want to explore, just head out the back yard and you’ll find yourself in a spectacular greenbelt, with acres of walking and bike trails, a peaceful creek just a minute’s walk away, and incredible wildlife. The creek is about a 2-minute walk directly down the path from our home, and it’s an easy walk across to find yourself in Austin's stunning Mary Moore Searight Park, which has over 300 acres of land full of trails and stuff to do.

The house has been kitted out with everything you need to relax. Our home is equipped with gigabit Googl Fiber internet with two wifi access points that cover the whole house (and from experience can easily handle folks streaming TV and video conferencing at the same time). The master bedroom and one upstairs bedroom have a desk for work, and the upper floor has a work desk as well in the hall. For those little ones, we have a crib, high chair, and changing station.

Guest access
You can enjoy long walks around our very safe and peaceful neighborhood. As far as parking goes, you are able to park on the driveway and on the street.

Other things to note
The home is equipped with smoke detectors, C02 detectors, a security camera in the front, and a noise detector in the back. We ask that guests respect our neighbors and not throw parties or make excessive noise outside on the deck late at night.

Hi there! I've lived in Austin since 1979 and love my city! I raised my three kids here and am lucky to have three more grandkids nearby (two of them pictured in the photo!). My son stays in this home when he's in town with his family, and I've lived in the neighborhood for more than 5 years. It's an incredible, family friendly neighborhood with a big magical public land space full of trails to explore. I hope y'all can share of a bit of our little slice of heaven here!
