This is a corner unit with large windows and great views of the meadow and Red Cliffs. Gourmet kitchen, bar counter, great room with flat screen TV and table for 10. Balcony to enjoy sunrise and sunset. Wifi and apple TV

The space
Master bedroom has a king size bed. Second bedroom with queen bed and private bathroom. Third spacious bedroom with full and twin bed. Loft has a couch with pullout queen bed.

Tandem parking for two cars in garage. Additional parking is available off-site at public parking area located at Timber Creek ski area (10 minute walk).

Other things to note
Please understand that the remoteness of Kirkwood is a blessing, but can also complicate the logistics of transportation and cleaning in the event of a storm. Plan for storms accordingly, including looking at Cal Trans Highway 88 updates, especially the Carson Spur and Carson Pass. We STRONGLY recommend that you obtain trip-interruption/cancellation insurance. We are unable to give refunds beyond the Airbnb standard strict policy if it is due to a winter snowstorm.

Additionally, nearly all Airbnb cleaners in Kirkwood live in South Lake Tahoe, 45 minutes away. For safety reasons, In the event of a major storm, the cleaner may not be able to arrive in time to clean before your arrival. If this occurs we will immediately notify you and refund the cleaning fee and give you instructions on accessing clean towels and linens . The cleaner will arrive at the home as soon as the roads are safely open until a reasonable time in the evening. If it is too late, she will arrive the next morning or as soon as the roads are safely open. We will NOT refund any amount beyond refund of the cleaning fee.

Our condo is located on the second floor which is accessible via stairs. There is no elevator.
