About This Listing
The apartment is located in downtown of Budapest, the area is called 'little Paris' is full of restaurants and cafes.
Just one street from the Danube and a short walk from Margaret Island and from Parliament. It is just a few blocks from Jászai Mari tér.
Beautiful, newly renovated and furnished apartment in the city centre. The apartment is located in a historical house, with garden. In the apartment, you can find a very big, compelling kitchen, with everything for your comfort. The two bedrooms are very big and comfortable. You can enjoy the gorgeous bathroom, with an old nice bath and big shower room. Two nice terraces belong to the apartment.
Late check in fee after 11pm (15 EUR)
Very nice and clean apartement. Almost all necessary things are provided. Great kitchen, extreamly spacious living room, comfy beds, great walk in shower, shop just downstairs and around the corner what can you ask more :)
Flora and her friend Sarah are very welcoming hosts and always privided us with all the Information and tipps we needed.
I highly recomend staying at their place :)
I went to Budapest with 6 friends and this place was awesome... Perfect location, beautiful apartment!!!
Flora was a perfect host and helped us with everything....
The only thing I can complain about is the internet connection, it was not fast enough.
But we would come back :)
I had a great time at Flora's apartment. She has a really nice and well equipped kitchen, a light living-room with a huge couch. Everything was clean and looks exactly the same like in the photos.
The apartment is in the center of Budapest, next to the one of the busiest roads of the city, with access to all kinds of public transport (train, tram, underground and several buses). The Danube with the Margitsziget is in a few minutes walking distance. Party places and a supermarket are also very close.
One should keep in mind that this area, despite being perfectly safe, has a bit of a homelessness problem (much like most of Budapest, to be fair) and this street is no exception. So don't be shocked if you see homeless people sleeping on the street. I'm just saying because you guys have the right to know, but again: they are totally harmless, they won't bother you, and there are not that many.
Overall, I'd happily recommend Flora's apartment to anyone, families included.
The property was located in an excellent area. There were plenty of Café and restaurants in the area with a shopping centre close by. Public transport was at easy reach but we walked mostly as it had good access to a lot of sites.
We had a lovely time at this property with only two draw backs, one being the drain in the shower wasn't draining which ended up in a very wet bathroom and the wifi kept dropping out.
The interactions with Flora were prompt and friendly. When we got to the property, the key in the lock box was missing, so the owner, Sara, immediately came and let us in. She was extremely sweet and accommodating. She shared a few places for us to check out to, and the ones we made it to were great recommendations.
The apartment was large and overall, very cute (we loved the open kitchen and the Bob Marley print in the dining room). The shower was huge, and we also liked that the toilette was in a separate room from the bath/shower, facilitating their use amongst multiple guests. Unfortunately, the toilette room light was out, so we used flashlights when going in there. We also liked the balconies - one looking out over the city street, the others looking out over the interior court yards. I must share that the elevator broke on our first night there. I do not hold it against the owner, as I know she has no control over it. It is just worth mentioning, as this is a possibility when traveling to other places around the world - and was no fun, being that this apartment was on the 6th story.
As for cleanliness, it was so-so. Better bedding, towels, and also insect-control, would have been appreciated - but overall, we were comfortable.
The location was great - on the outskirts of the metropolitan areas (near transportation and an enjoyable 10 minute walk to the ruin pubs, festivals in the city-center, etc).
We went 5 days to Boedapest.
The appartment was amazing : clean, towels, bedsheets. A large appartment. Flora gaved me perfect instructions about the adres, the key, WIFI, she was very kind.
We had an amazing 5 days. It's 15 min. from the center.
When I go back to Boedapest, then I will stay here again.
Thanks Flora, we had a lovely stay!!
A party of four plus one child spent two nights in Flora's apartment. We had a nice experience - the directions were clear, the place is spacious, with all of the utilities and fine location. It made our trip to Budapest comfortable and memorable :)
