The Space

This is our family home, however the entire ground floor is self contained from the rest of the house (just an internal staircase).

The ground floor has 2 twins and one double, plus a lounge which has a futon that can fold out to small double. You have your own kitchen and 2 bathrooms (one is ensuite to twin room). Available is one Twin Room.

We are 2 minutes from sea and have 3 kayaks for your use. We are on a picturesque peninsular, 20 minutes from trendy Tauranga and Mount Maunganui.

We also have a chocolate Labrador.

There are plenty of things to do in Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty. Choose from water adventures like white-water rafting, kayaking, dolphin encounters, parasailing and (email hidden)om the beaches and harbour to a thriving kiwifruit industry and Maori culture, the coastal Bay of Plenty is a great holiday destination….Its very unspoilt however in town there is a lot of nightlife.
Beware though you definately need your own transport there is only one bus aday from bit of paradise to town! we are 2.5 hours from Auckland and 1.5 hours from Rotorua and 2 hours from Taupo!

  • Jackie and Steve were wonderful hosts. Steve was home most of time and extremely helpful I assisting us to get around. We had wine every night and lots of conversation and laughter. The views from their home is lovely. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend their place and company for others.

  • Jackie and Steve were gracious and very interesting hosts, making us both feel instantly welcome. They went out of their way to make things easy for us and treated us like friends rather than flying visitors. The house is filled with interesting and artistic curiosities, as well as Steve's beautiful photography. We had privacy, convenience and flexibility. A cut above a lot of what else is out there.

  • We had a ball staying with Jackie and husband Steve. They made us so very welcome in their home. They gave us a tour of the local area and were very informative about the local area. We spent quite a bit of time with them in the evenings, (Sorry if were kept you from your work) and felt we had known them for ages as they were so friendly. We were able to have a choice of rooms, which were all decorated lovely and a good space. The facilities in our own kitchen, were amazing too, there wasn't a thing that we needed that wasn't there. The house has lovely views of the water from upstairs, and is in a very nice quiet town. I would highly recommend staying with these great people, in their lovely home.

  • Jackie and Steve left us the key to their beuatiful home while they were away. We were overwhelmed by this generosity and would have loved to meet them.
