Locate in the Allentown neighborhood. Allentown is known for its community of artists, for its embrace of bohemian, hipster and gay culture, and for the civic commitment of residents to the historic and aesthetic sensibilities of the neighborhood. Allentown is one of Buffalo's premier areas for nightlife, dining, and antique shopping.
There's a bus to Niagara Falls about 5 blocks away and also a metro rail 'subway' that goes along Main Street.
Other Things to Note
Allentown is a great urban location. Our neighborhood is safe, residential and vibrant. If you are looking for a way to experience Buffalo as a resident, this is the neighborhood for you.
The house is a double, please be considerate of the neighbors downstairs. One off street parking spot comes along with the apartment and there is often plenty in the street. You have full access to the kitchen and laundry. An air mattress can be provided upon request. Please treat my house as it is yours.
The house is in the perfect location just a block away from all the action of Allentown and less than a mile from Chippewa. We really enjoyed having all the space this home provides vs your typical hotel room. It was very clean and updated by Buffalo's standards. If you are into the hipster walkable vibe, this place is for you.
This was our first trip to Buffalo and Todd's house in the historic neighborhood of Allentown works superbly. You are only a few minutes walk to all the best places for eating, drinking and music, and only about a 30 minute walk to downtown Buffalo. Todd is very pleasant and attentive to whatever questions you may have during your stay.
Great renovated apartment in the quiet neighborhood of Allentown in Buffalo. Very cozy and comfortable. Within walking distance of many restaurants. We couldn't have been happier during our stay!
The experience was positive and met our expectations. The house was clean, modern and bright. There are lots of eateries within walking distance and a supermarket within driving distance. I will definitely recommend this place for people visiting Buffalo. The only suggestion for Todd is to invest in a microwave oven in the future.
