A gorgeous and quaint apartment, located in the heart of San Francisco, is available for $160 a night, and $180 starting in May. My apartment is five minutes away, as the bird flies, from Fisherman’s Wharf and 15 minutes from the downtown area. Located right in North Beach, a SF tourist destination, you will be minutes, even seconds, away from fabulous cuisine and beautiful sights such as Coit Tower, lush staircase gardens, the Embarcadero, sunny parks, statuesque churches, and other SF landmarks.
Amenities include: two bedrooms (master bedroom has a Tempur-Pedic bed), workspace, bathroom, full kitchen, and internet. Because I live on a main artery, traffic can be slightly loud, so if you’re a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. Overall, though, my apartment offers a sunny and uniquely San Francisco vibe. My apartment fits two people perfectly (I charge extra for a third party). If interested, send me a note!
Ultimately, it depends on the guest(s) and their availability. I'm always available via text. I love to meet new people, so I'm always happy to get some coffee or drinks with my guests.
I LOVE my neighborhood because it has a village feel to it. North Beach is known as "Little Italy," so it has a bit of a European flair.
The 30 Bus Line is a very convenient way to reach Union Square and the Downtown Area from my apartment. The 30 Bus line headed in the other direction will take you to the Marina. Alternatively, San Francisco is a very walkable and bike friendly city. San Francisco is not, however, the greatest city for street parking. If you are renting a car, you can park on the street, but you will need to move your car every two hours from 10am to 6pm. So, I usually recommend that if you do rent a car, perhaps rent it for one day, drive to wine country or down south, and then drop it off.
Airports transport: SFO--take BART to Montgomery Street Station, walk two blocks to Sutter and Kearny Street, catch the 30 Bus Line. Oakland Airport--walk or cab it to the 73 Bus Line, and take that to the BART Station. Get off at Montgomery Street, walk two blocks to Sutter and Kearney Street, catch the 30 Bus Line.
FYI: once you book my apartment, you will receive my exact address, so you will be able to (website hidden) Map the transport.
Catherine's apartment was super!
Although we didn't meet Catherine herself she was on hand if needed and very easy to communicate with about arrival times etc.
The location was perfect! We explored many other areas of San Francisco and wouldn't have wanted to stay anywhere else. You were right in the middle of pleasant hustle and bustle on an evening with plenty of nice cafes, bars and restaurants. The area was safe to walk around and the apartment was close to Fisherman's Wharf too. We even walked to Union Square but if you didn't fancy the hills then the cable cars dropped of quite near by.
The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and had full kitchen facilities if you needed to cook. Towels were provided too.
We had a car as we were travelling round California but there is no need to have a car in San Francisco. There was no parking with the apartment which we knew about before hand but there was a secure garage right across the road $25 a day which we used. Seems quite pricey but there wasn't really another option as street parking is metered or limited to 2 hours only apart from a Sunday when you can stay as long as you like. I think if you have a car in San Francisco you have to factor in those prices for parking.
We would definitely recommend staying at Catherine's apartment!
Catherine is a very nice girl! She is very welcoming and gave us some tips to visit SF.
Her flat is a very nice flat very good located in the Italian Quarter. We felt like at home!
Catherine was great to deal with in the lead up to and on arrival - good communication and made checking in a breeze, being very welcoming and informative.
The apartment is great with lots of very interesting decorative touches and a great vibe. The location is fab - walking distance to lots of great things and other neighbourhoods.
Catherine had very thoughtfully provided maps and brochures/info of the local area and potential things to do in and around San Fran which made planning our trip really easy.
Only wish we could have stayed longer - would happily stay here again!
The apartment was as listed, and very good! Comfortable, personal, breezy place in great neighborhood. I was also super impressed and appreciative with Catherine, as she answered all of my questions before and during the trip very quickly and was really friendly. She seemed to really care that I would enjoy my stay...and I did! Highly recommended, you could book without hesitation.
Catherine was a great host! She was very communicative and accommodating to our late arrival and early departure. The apartment itself is perfect for 2-3 people. It's clean, quaint, and charming -- very homey and comfortable. The location in North Beach is fantastic in terms of public transport, as well as walking to everything like Coit tower, and Fisherman's Wharf. Loved the food in the neighborhood. The only thing I would say is to definitely bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper like myself. Being a main road, it's always got some sort of action on it... I'd highly recommend staying here if you want a real San Fran living experience.
We had a great stay at Catherine's place. It was super comfortable and the charm of the place added to our San Fransisco experience. It was easy to get all over town from there - just a block away from the cable car and within walking of so many neighborhoods. It was great staying in North Beach as well - we probably wouldn't have made it there to check it out if we'd stay somewhere else and now we can't wait to come back!
We had a wonderful stay at Catherine's! The place is great, photos don't do it justice. Exemplary cleanliness, whimsical decor, an inconspicuous but always helpful host!
Location is perfect, too.
Catherine was awesome as host!
She texted me to see if everything was ok and asked me if i need anything so it was great to know that I can count on her if something was wrong.
The apartment was beatiful and we could rest perfectly to see the city!
If i come back i deffinitly will text Catherine
Location is exactly as advertised.
Catherine is a very wonderful host, you barely notice her.
Although it didn't bother me, windows don't block street noise all too well and it'(email hidden)ly neighborhood, so you always feel like you've left a window open when in fact they are all shut. Just keep that in mind.
I attended a conference at Moscone and walking time was about 30m.
I can only recommend this listing.
Catherine was very welcoming. Perfect location! I could easily walk to the downtown area for a conference that I was attending. The room was comfortable. There is some street noise that is taken care of by using a fan at night for white noise. Nice restaurants close by and an easy walk to Fisherman's Wharf.
