Ginger was warm and welcoming. We loved her house and it was adequately supplied. She had some nice extras for us when we arrived. She was very accommodating. We would definitely stay there again!!
We came to Summerville with a few friends to attend a wedding in Charleston. Ginger's place was even more perfect than we had expected. From the start Ginger was great at communicating with us about any questions we had and was very flexible with changes. The house is gorgeous and in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. While some of our friends went and explored the area we spent quite a bit of time at the house enjoying the large backyard with our dog who also gave this trip two paws up! Next time we come to SC we will definitely be staying at one of Ginger's places!!
Communication with Ginger was spot-on. Emails answering questions and providing information and recommendations on things to do in the area was immensely helpful in planning my trip. With older parents I had to be mindful of planning activities that involved little walking and Ginger was immensely helpful in providing some recommendations. Thank you!!!
The house is as presented on the website. There is not one thing that I would change. Ginger's home worked perfectly for myself and my parents. The neighborhood is quiet and very safe and is also near enough to the airport.
The recommendations that Ginger provides for local (i.e. Summerville) and Charleston restaurants is also spot-on. With a plethora of choices, her recommendations were greatly appreciated in finding the best spot in town for good eats!
I can't say enough good things about Ginger's hospitality or her home. I would definitely Ginger as an airbnb host!!!
Ginger was very available. She had snacks and fresh flowers ready for us, maps, multiple suggestions for eating and site seeing. The house was clean and nicely stocked.
We had a wonderful stay at Ginger's house during our visit to Charleston. The house was just as pictured and provided that home away from home feel. I highly recommend and will certainly use Ginger's house again when visiting Charleston.
Ginger was terrific, there when we needed her but otherwise non-intrusive. Her home was perfect for my 85 year old mom and me. We each had our privacy with separate bedrooms and baths. We enjoyed the living room watching TV in the afternoons / evenings. The neighborhood was really quiet and lovely. I took several walks and in the mornings the bird were singing and it was quite enjoyable. The kitchen has everything you need. We shopped and had breakfast and dinner home since mom tired easily. Ginger had a huge stack of resources for exploring, and she also provided a great deal of info up front when I booked to help us pre-plan. She recommended Five Loaves restaurant in Summerville, and we ate lunch there twice -- you will not be disappointed. All in all, this was a terrific stay for mom and me.

About the Host, Ginger
I have been working in the hospitality and service industry for over 18 years, and will be happy to provide recommendations on activities and dining in the area. I love meeting people from all over the world and hosting through Airbnb.
I currently work full time for a large construction firm. I love music, art, running, hula hooping, going to the beach, boating, good food, and good wine.
I am a very clean and organized person. I have no children or pets, but welcome them in my home as long as they are well behaved and their parents clean up after them. :) My home is not completely child proof, so if you and your child or children are visiting here, I recommend doing a walk through to put away any decor that may be an issue.
