Charming apartment in a restored XVII building at the heart of the medieval downtown of Altafulla, the Vila Closa. Suitable for families and for peace, culture, and nature lovers. Fifteen minutes walking to the most exquisite beach on the Costa Dorada, one hour to the southern coast from Barcelona. Adequately equipped for four guests, lightful, comfortable, spacious, and stylish decorated.

The space
The apartment has a nice little terrace and a hearth.
The kitchen is simple but well equipped with a gas stove, a little fridge, coffee machine, hand blender, and a kettle. Tableware, mugs cutlery, and glasses are enough for 6 people, and also plastic tableware. There are also different-sized pots, pans, and other kitchen tools.
We have a large wooden table in the dining room and chairs to the seat.
There is Wifi and TV with digital broadcasting (Chromecast).
There is one double bed in a low roofed (1,58cm height) room with wooden beams, kind of an attic not suitable for people with spine or neck problems, although to lie down and sleep at ease.
We also have two comfortable futons which would be used to seat or two sleep for two people, they can easily be extended.

"La Casa Blava" is located in the medieval complex named "Villa Closça" in the peaceful and lovely village of Altafulla. There's a magnificent castle dating from the 11th century and the center from the former town which with most of the residential buildings are impressively well preserved.
The building of "La Casa Blava", originally from the 18th century. retains beautifully its ancient character. Our apartment has been recently reformed, offers very pleasant spaces, preserving its rustic nature with a modern touch. The location of our house is unique, you would certainly delight yourself in this peaceful village, waking up with singing birds, basking under the sun on our terrace.
The delightful beach from Altafulla, which is 10 minutes walking from our house, is, without a doubt, the finest from "La Costa Dorada". The cute little fishermen's houses on the seafront and the magnificent castle of Tamarit touching the sea are priceless. Altafulla is ideal for walking, there is an access from the beach to the natural protected area of the Gaia river, as well as to the route that goes on the rocks boarding the coast. At the promenade you would find tasty Mediterranean seafood and fancy terraces to sit and drink, watching the sun going down.
Altafulla is a dreamy spot to rest, it's permanent and temporary inhabitants are kind and smooth people. Nevertheless, if you are interested in the culture you would be able to become acquaintance about the Catalan traditions such as the human towers or "Castells", culinary contests, traditional parades, craft markets and even international music festivals like Altacustic and Filmaltafulla.
Relatively close to Altafulla are the fabulous Wine-growing areas from Montsant and Priorat. The amazing scenery of mountains covered with vineyards and its picturesque villages will fascinate you. In their wineries, you will be able to taste the flavors of this amazing land.
The most active area of interest the impressive mountain of Siurana at The Montsant of the Prades mountains which are very appreciated by hiking and climbing lovers. Moreover, the closest peak from the Pyrenees is just three hours' driving.
You shouldn’t miss the precious Roman Tarragona, with its magnificent Amphitheatre, nice downtown, and seafood restaurants
