This lovely cosy cottage is situated along the Wild Atlantic Way about 20 minutes from Kinsale on the R600 coast road. Have a (EMAIL HIDDEN) to get a feel for this unique part of Ireland.
The cottage has a double bedroom on the second floor with a comfortable new double bed with good linen and down duvet. The adjacent bathroom has an electric shower. The cottage is beside the main house where your hosts live but is separate with its own access.
The cottage is 3 Km from the historic village of Kilbrittain on the Wild Atlantic Way ( a 2000km coastal drive from Kinsale in the south to Donegal in the North). The village is home to a beautiful Castle and the skeleton of a fin whale the subject of the documentary 'Inside Natures Giants'.
Kinsale is 12 Km away, renowned for its beautiful marina and delicious fish restaurants, home to the 17th Century Charles Fort, famous for its connection with King Charles and the Spanish Armada.
There is an abundance of activities to occupy a visitor to this area. There are a wide range of golf courses within a short driving distance including the world famous Old Head of Kinsale, a headland off which the Lusitania was tragically sunk.
You will also find a number of outdoor activity centers along the coast which offer surfing, sailing and wind surfing lessons. The beautiful sandy blue flag beaches of Garretstown and Garylucas are less than 10 minutes drive.
Clonakilty is within 15KM, a lovely town where you will find the scenic Inchydoney beach, a Model Village and numerous lively pubs and restaurants.
The Wild Atlantic Way follows the coast along through West Cork to places like Skibbereen and Bantry Bay.

We would prefer that guests did not smoke in the cottage but outside is ok.
Please do not smoke inside the property but smoking outside is permitted.
We would be very happy to spend some time with our guests if they wish it.
Wifi has recently been upgraded and is available complimentary for guests use.
A tea tray is provided with tea/coffee, milk, and freshly baked soda bread.
