Our cozy British-inspired retreat sleeps 4 with a queen bed, queen sleeper sofa, full bath with a charming clawfoot tub & gorgeous industrial-style kitchen. The space
Welcome to **Lucky Duck Studio**, located in the Historic District in the heart of St. Michaels! Our private second-floor studio has everything you need for a relaxing Eastern Shore getaway, including WiFi, YouTube TV, a large closet, washer and dryer, full kitchen and plenty of space to unwind.
The studio is perfect for a romantic weekend, wedding getaway, family trip or fun weekend with friends. It sleeps up to 4 with a queen bed and a sofa that converts to a queen sleeper, complete with fresh linens, pillows and cozy throws.
One of our favorite features is the fully equipped industrial-style kitchen with a SMEG refrigerator. The Village Shoppe is just steps away, making it easy to stock up on cheeses, fruit, cold cuts, homemade meals and your beverages of choice.
Before heading out for the evening, make yourself a cocktail in the **parlor**, which is stocked with plenty of drinkware for your favorite libations. Or relax on our shared front porch with a cup of coffee from Blue Heron Coffee, directly across the street, and take in the charm and activity of Talbot Street.
**Coming to St. Michaels for a wedding?** Lucky Duck Studio is a wonderful option for wedding guests, parents of the bride or groom, or even as a fun space for members of the wedding party to get ready while sipping champagne in the parlor.

You're within walking distance of the Miles River, restaurants, shops, museums, breweries, coffee and everything else our town has to offer. We also provide maps of town, local restaurant and shopping recommendations, and umbrellas for those unexpected Eastern Shore showers.
You can relax knowing we'll have the property ready with everything you need, and we're always available if you need assistance during your stay. We want your experience at Lucky Duck Studio to be top notch!
**A little about our historic property:** Our building is more than 100 years old and sits directly on the main road through our small town. During busier times, you may hear some passing cars and activity from Talbot Street. That's also part of what puts you right in the middle of everything!
And don't be surprised if you run into us at one of our favorite local spots—Foxy's, Carpenter Street Saloon, Bistro St. Michaels, The Galley, Eastern Shore Brewing, San Miguels or Talbot Street Tavern. There are so many fantastic places to choose from!
We're so excited to share our Lucky Duck property with you and hope your stay is everything you want it to be.
Guest access
Your studio is completely private and has its own private entrance at the bottom of the stairs leading to your second-floor space. The front porch is shared with our second Lucky Duck apartment and is a great spot to relax and enjoy Talbot Street.
You’ll have your own dedicated parking area on our shared gravel driveway, with space for two cars parked back-to-back. You’ll see two Lucky Duck parking signs—please use the space designated for your unit, as the second sign is reserved for guests staying in our other Lucky Duck apartment.
Other things to note
We own and manage the entire property, including our second Lucky Duck apartment, so you can feel comfortable knowing that all guests on the property are personally managed by us and follow the same house rules.
We also have a private mortgage office on the main level next door, which is used during the work week and has its own separate entrance. The door on the left side of the building is the private entrance to our second Lucky Duck Airbnb. Your studio and entrance are completely private.

Rent a kayak or paddle board across the street from Dave at Shore Pedal and Paddle and explore the hidden creeks along the Miles River and wave to the locals as they sit on their decks. Then walk over to the local waterfront restaurant Foxy’s Harbor Grille and enjoy appetizers while listening to live music and watch all of the sailboats and yachts head into St. Michael’s Marina. Sit on the deck of Crab Claw Restaurant and enjoy a bushel of crabs.
