Steps to the major street in Toronto and a short walk to the subway station makes this location perfect for someone who wants to explore all that the city has to offer, but also wants a cozy, quiet place to relax.

On a quiet residential street, the private apartment is approximately 850 square feet. Many guest have remarked how large the space is.

Hardwood floors, full kitchen including dishwasher, stove with full self cleaning oven, microwave oven. Full size energy efficient refrigerator and freezer, toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder. Dishes, cutlery, cooking utensils. Gas fireplace/electric heat, separate heating control.

Bathroom has en suite laundry: washer/dryer, whirlpool bathtub, hair dryer. Ceramic tiles.

Private entrance steel door with deadbolt for security.


Furnished with Queen sized bed, night table, two armchairs, rugs. Flat panel television with vcr and dvd.

Steps from Bloor Street, Ossington Subway station provides easy access to all the delight that Toronto has to offer.

Parking is 2 options: a Green P paid parking lot one block away, or purchase an on street permit from the City of Toronto. - Street parking available online with permit, issued by city $9/day, $14/2 days, $23/week via The city of Toronto Transportation Services, Temporary Parking. Host can print out pass and charge you on arrival. Public transit is a subway station one block away.

Fantastic boutique/organic grocery store a couple of blocks away, with national grocery chain store open 24 hours nearby. Liquor store one block away. Restaurants including Japanese, Korean, Mexican, Chinese, Middle Eastern, Indian, Continental; a huge park with pool and playgrounds, banks, boutiques. All the Museums, galleries, theatres and best shopping areas that Toronto has to offer are just a relaxed walk or a few subway stops away.

Plenty of shops, cafes and entertainment venues just far enough away to be easily be accessible, but leave the neighbourhood extremely quiet. Christie Pits Park is 2 blocks away with a free public pool and lots of area for joggers.

The apartment is completely seperate and private. You may come and go on your own schedule. Host lives upstairs and is uslly available for advice, suggestions, a pinch of something, but never intrusive. Host telephone does NOT accept texts.

The apartment is completely separate. Your host lives upstairs and is usually on site to assist with directions and recommendations, but will definitely not intervene with your private stay.

The neighborhood

The quiet residential street is perfectly positioned to provide privacy and tranquility, but is very adjacent to buzz of Bloor Street and the close by subway station that can take you to any area of Toronto, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Nearby is a huge park with public swimming pool, ice hockey rinks, baseball and just lazing around areas. Non chain coffee shops and gourmet grocery stores are an easy stroll away.

Getting around

Toronto is proud of the public transit system which operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Day passes are the most economical purchase to explore all the places you want to explore in the city. Parking passes can be obtained online from the City of Toronto of you wish to park your car on our street, however a pay parking lot is just around the corner for short parking times

Other things to note

No unregistered over night guest allowed, no pets, no partying, no smoking.
Evidence of smoking in the unit will result in immediate eviction with no return of prepaid amounts and a charge of $250.00 taken from deposit.
