Enjoyed my stay at Danny's. Good communication, and he arranged and had ready a $24 parking voucher (paid by me, to be clear) so I could leave my car in front for the four days.
Convenient to subway and Koreatown and Bloor St. and many restaurant options.
It's a basement apartment, and what windows there are let in not much light, but that helps keep you outside, esp in good weather.
Would stay here again.
Danny's flat was accurately described. The neighborhood is very convenient to subway and getting around the city. Plenty of restaurants, pubs and convenience stores nearby. Danny is an excellent host. He is available, yet not overly so. He knows plenty about the city and is willing to share it. The flat had the needed amenities and more. Clean, convenient, safe and comfortable. I would certainly stay here again.
Danny's appartment is located in a great little spot just off Bloor St in trendy part of Toronto filled with awesome bars, eateries and funky little stores for as far as the eye can see. The subway is a two minute walk that will link you to anywhere in the city with ease.
Danny is a great host, helpful and knowledgeable. He has set up a great little appartment filled with all the little things that makes it a home away from home, awesome coffees, teas and esential toiletries. I stayed for a very comfortable week and have had some great night sleeps in the super comfy bed while enjoying relaxing around the appartment, watching some dvds when I was too tired to go out exploring.
I would defantly recommend staying here and myself will use Danny's appartment if I ever visit Toronto again.
My wife and I have stayed in Danny's apartment about 6 times now. We keep coming back because of the clean and especially functional studio apartment, and Danny's friendliness.
Danny was there to greet me just as I arrived and gave me the tour of his basement apartment. He was a very nice man and more than willing to help. It's a very lovely space in a nice, quiet neighborhood but just off of the main thoroughfare and quite near the subway station so you can go anywhere in the city. Practically everything is in walking distance from the apartment. The apartment itself has all the amenities once could want (I especially liked the washer/dryer.) I'd definitely recommend this place for any other Airbnb users because I did thoroughly enjoy it.
We stayed for 4 nights in Danny's basement suite, could not of picked a better place.
Was in a nice quiet neighbourhood, close to subway station and Bloor st. and steps away from family we were visiting.
Danny welcomed us when we arrived & showed us around ,then we had complete privacy. The suite had everything we needed and also stocked with assorted items that made the stay more enjoyable. Like Kerug coffee pods , tea , water and juice in fridge ect...and fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed and sitting area. There also was a folder with helpful info on the area .
Will definitely stay again if coming to Toronto!
We were made to feel very welcome by Danny. He was very accommodating to our needs. We were very comfortable and will definitely stay again when in Toronto. The neighborhood and proximity to the Subway was excellent.
