Interaction with guests
We will be out of town but available via text, phone, and email. Additionally a neighbor will be available to deal with any emergency.
Bus stop to downtown L.A. or Santa Monica is half a block away.
Please make yourself at home. Play with the toys and use any foodstuffs left in the kitchen. The garden is at your disposal too, (please note the grapefruits are not ready until the skins are pink.)
There is one space in the driveway and one space on the back street (Mildred), in front of the rolling gate.
The gardens in back and front are watered automatically. Gardener will water patio plants on Fridays, but guests will need to take a couple of minutes a day to water them as needed.
- Use two hands when climbing the ladder
- Never climb into the tree, or climb over the railing, or even put a leg over the railing.
- One person on the slide at a time (and help younger children gain confidence on this slide--it is fast and stops abruptly).
There is a selection of hoops behind the curtain by the piano. These are heavier than wham-0 hoops, best to wear shoes and be careful not to hit anyone.
We are leaving the hot tub set to 103 degrees. You can turn it up or down with the arrow buttons. Hot tub chemicals: Put a half scoop of chlorine in when you get out of the tub (but skip this step if water seems chloriney). Once a week put a full cup of Aquafinesse salt solution (shake well!) let the jets (not the bubbles) run for a couple of minutes, then add a full scoop of chlorine, continue running jets for ten or fifteen minutes.
Bikes and Beach
Bikes, boogie boards, cooler, beach chairs and an umbrella are in the garage, by the hot tub.
