Mike's place is perfect!! Great communication, beautiful view, convenient location, everything you need for a wonderful time in Juneau I recommend eating st Island Pub in Douglas, local, great view and fantastic pizza V's Cellar in downtown Junesu had excellent Mexican Asian fusion for lunch. Recommend Shrine of St Therese - tranquil and beautiful. Seaplane to Taku Lodge was the ultimate with a visit by a bear waiting for licks after the salmon was done. The views from the seaplane were amazing and worth the "investment" in the memories. Ask Mike any questions you have and he'll get right back to you. Just sorry he was out of town when I was there so I didn't get to meet him, the kids or the fig. Enjoy!!! It's perfect -

An amazing visit to Alaska with wonderful accommodations. This property has beautiful views of snow capped mountains, as well as the Gausteau Channel. Mendenhall Glacier National Park is just down the road. Juneau has so many hidden areas to explore, it's a magical place! Herbert Glacier is hidden gem..that I missed. You can bike three quarters of the way or hike the 9.1 miles on an easy path, just upgraded! Beaches everywhere! Not to mention views of the Aurora Borealis, while visiting Skagway, captured with my camera!

It was my first time to Alaska.. wow!! Such a beautiful place at every turn. Mike was amazing from the initial booking to the farewell.. Mike's place is in a perfect location just minutes from downtown Juneau and about 1000 hikes!! Tried to do all 1000 hikes:) My private room/bathroom was perfect and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Beautiful kitchen as well. If your dreaming of coming to Alaska.. dream no more, just come out and experience life at its fullest.. Mike will enhance your trip!! To amazing travels! Kurt

Fortunately I had an experience to see many symbols of Alaska - bald eagles, the Northern Lights and mountain goats. l enjoyed hiking on the trails viewing glacier mountains. All things started from Mike' s house and came back to warm "home". Very nice place for everyone exploring Southeast Alaska or just taking still life.
