The house was absolutely perfect for a solo traveler. Met a bunch of amazing people and made tons of friends. Good location and helpful host to help find local Japanese things to do! Very much enjoyed my stay! Would come back!

The host is trying hard to keep the chaos organized but unfortunately it is not a pleasant stay. The beds are uncomfortable, the bathroom is very filthy, the place is over crowded, unheated in the winter and it was just a miserable experience. The only good part is that you get t…

I'm really sorry that the experience was disappointed for you. As I didn't see you when you arrived, I wish I could've explain you more about the house. Heaters are equipped in each bedrooms and common room. If you are talking about stairs and bathroom, no there is no heater, sorry, but that's how most of Japanese houses are. Also, you said the bathroom was dirty. If you don't mind, would you tell me where exactly you felt it? Floor, wall, shower area? So I can may be improve things! Thanks for your help!
