This luxurious room - 'The Mulberry Room' - with king sized bed OR two singles- is situated on the top floor of our three story townhouse home in central Hove. The room is private, spacious and sunny with views of the grand Victorian architecture of Hove. The ensuite shower room is clad with a beautiful mosaic floor feature created by the owner. There is a kitchenette close by. Here you can prepare a simple breakfast or meal. All you need is there. Note this is shared with one other guest room.
The space
Previously an award winning B&B The Art House Hove continues to boast quality, comfort and practicality. The room is stylishly decorated and furnished to suit the Victorian house. With a small fridge, hospitality tray and table for two there is space to sit and relax. Spot the mosaic artworks ( all for sale) created by the owner artist Liz Tiranti.
ABOUT PARKING: There is meter/pay by phone parking in the centre bays of our road. It costs around £6.50 for 11 hours ( all day) and you can purchase more than one day when you arrive.
NOTE: we also offer a second king-sized/twin ensuite room ( listed on AirBNB) so if you require extra space please do ask about availability.

Brighton & Hove is an easy city to navigate for a pedestrian. The Art House Hove is 5 minutes from the sea and just a 2 minute walk to the coffee shops, bars and restaurants of vibrant central Hove. Once at the seafront promenade turn left and you can take the 20-30 minute walk to Brighton Pier Pavilion and the Laines. Turn right and you can stroll the Hove promenade for ice cream, pizza and sunset watching. There are also buses from both the top and bottom of Wilbury Road that offer frequent routes to all parts of the city. Brighton also has excellent taxi services including Uber. Arriving by train we are just a 10 minute walk from Hove station.

Host Liz Tiranti is a long established mosaic artist and works to commission, makes works for sale and runs classes from her garden studio here at The Art House Hove. The mosaic artworks you see in the house and garden are for sale.
You are welcome to visit the studio during your stay so just ask… it makes for a unique stay!

Just a 5 minute walk to the coffee shops, bars and restaurants of vibrant central Hove and another couple of minutes and you are on the promenade. Turn left and you can take the 15 minute walk to Brighton Pier, Pavilion and the Lanes. Turn right and you can stroll the promenade for ice cream, pizza, Hove Lagoon watersports centre or the new Rockwater restaurant and bar for rooftop sunset watching.

I’m happy to spend time with my guests or give them space
I’ve a mosaic artist. Not many of us in the Uk. It’s an Italian thing by tradition and heart. Luckily I inherited my husbands roots ‘Tiranti.’ We love to travel together but back at home Dex throws pots on the wheel and I make decorative artworks, floors, murals and sculptures with hand cut glass and ceramic. I also inherited five grandchildren who call me the ‘Arty Auntie’. We both enjoy meeting people so sharing our home is a pleasure.
