Interaction with Guests
Mornings at breakfast or evenings are best times to talk story with hosts, farm workers and other guests. We get busy with farm work and running errands for farm, but do our best to be available as time permits.
We are right off the highway in Captain Cook in the Kona Coffee Belt with nearby eateries and grocery store. We have beautiful views of the coastline and sunset from the farm. The famed City of Refuge/Honaunau National Park and Two Step (famous snorkeling spot) are just 10 minute drive.
There is a public bus, but only runs near the farm in the morning. Buses run periodically throughout the day from bus stop across from Manago Hotel which is 2 miles away. We recommend a rental car when staying at our farm.
Other Things to Note
Check ins on Sundays is after 4:00pm. All other days after 1:00 pm. However, we try our best to be flexible for earlier checkins on request when possible.
This is a working farm first. quiet time from 10:00 pm - 6:00 am. Our workers sometimes get started at 7am with a fair amount of noise. And during harvest season (fall & winter), several pickers congregate as early as 7am. So, our place is more suited to early risers, which is our typical guest. If you are a late sleeper and disturbed by early morning noise, this may not be the best place for you. Guests are welcome to come and go as they please. We just ask everyone to be respectful of others on the farm during quiet time.
We require a 2 night minimum. The best time to checkin is in the afternoon before it gets dark. We are difficult to find at night, since there are no street lights and most landmarks are not visible in the dark. Checkins are usually from 1pm-5pm and we appreciate knowing what time to expect you. Checkins at any other time is by appt only. The latest check in allowed is 10pm - as the saying goes...early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.
Quiet time/lights out 10 pm - 6 am.

Bebo and his family were an absolute delight! They made us feel very welcome and gave us recommendations on where to eat, what to see and where to go. The farm is in a beautiful setting and the animals were adorable. We only wish we had stayed longer!
Bebo's ohana (family) is warm, welcoming, friendly, and chill! The place is perfectly situated if you're looking for a quiet getaway and some local flavor! I've never had a cup of coffee grown on the same spot I'm sipping it, so you'll definitely want to take a bag home with you — it's award-winning and delicious. Listen to his advice for local dining establishments — we were only able to get to one but it was great!
Bebo and Karen were very friendly and welcoming hosts. We had a comfortable room and access to a basic shared bathroom. Loved the fresh pumpkin bread served each morning along with fruit and coffee grown on the farm. I left a pair of shoes in the room and Bebo was incredibly helpful in arranging postage of them back to New Zealand. Thank you so much :)
Bebo, Karen and Tommy were all welcoming when we got there. Bebo showed us around and give us some suggesting of places to eat and go. We tasted their bananas and avocado very good. Coffee and pumpkin bread on the table every morning. Spent a little bit talking in the morning finding out what everyone did the day before. A family very proud of what they are doing. When we left they said we were family now in on the big island.
Bebo and Karen were very friendly and great host. Thank you for anything. We loved every moment of it. The farm is near to 2 Step, which is the best snorkel place, what we ever seen. There is the best coffe, what we tried. Thank you for the good experiance!

Bebo is a very nice person an the perfect host. He made us feel at home since we arrived.
The house is located in a beautiful area and very near of amazing beaches for those who want to swim with dolphins.
He helped us with recommendations and with anything we needed.
We loved staying at Bebo's house.
Bebo and his wife were the perfect hosts. My friend and I stayed for four days during our spring break and had a great time! Their place is in a great location to take off for day trips or drive to get some great food. The room was cozy and just what we needed for our short stay. The coffee and fresh pumpkin bread in the morning was ready every morning at 8am sharp and we looked forward to breakfast and chatting with the other airbnber's that were staying there as well. The dogs were so cute and friendly and made us feel right at home, and Bebo and Karen had plenty of food and adventure recommendations for us. Great experience!
