Experience what only a lucky few do, the Kona Coffee Farm Lifestyle. Stay at our budget friendly bunk house. It is a detatched room adjacent to the main house on our organic/sustainable Family Kona Coffee Farm. Room has 2 twin beds, and has it’s own separate entrance. Upon request, a cot with bedding may be provided for a third person for $10 per night. Room includes Wifi. Guests will share basic clean bathroom and shower and outdoor kitchen with a few other guests.
We provide complementary farm fresh award winning 100% Kona coffee (fresh roasted), farm fresh homemade pumpkin or banana bread and farm fresh fruit (based on seasonal availability). Join us, our workers or other guests in our communal outdoor kitchen and talk story.
Experience life on a working organic/sustainable Kona coffee farm in the heart of the Kona Coffee belt. Wake up to award winning farm fresh Kona coffee while taking in the breathtaking views. Feel free to walk the farm and enjoy the sunsets under the mango tree. There are plenty of papaya, avocado, mango, pineapple, mountain-apple, tahitian lime, guava, citrus, several varieties of bannanas and even a few tomato trees. Pack up some farm fresh produce and head to the easy access National Park beach (approx 8 minutes) and swim with dolphins and turtles and enjoy the world-class snorkeling at HoNauNau Bay or just chill in the shade of a palm tree at the beach and whale watch or cool off in a tide pool. Enjoy the colorful birds and crazy antics of our dogs, ducks, and chickens. Our dog & cat roam around outdoor areas and sometimes come into main house. But they do not go into Bunhouse. There are plenty of local cafe's, bakery's, restaurants, and fall off the bone BBQ joints within a few minutes of the farm to be enjoyed at Honaunau national park picnic area for picture postcard photo ops while watching the sunset (watch for the green flash) they are real and have been seen once myself.
We are out in the country, so public transit is limited and can be challenging. We highly recommend car rental. Our Coffee Farm features nearly 100 year old Kona Arabica trees producing some of the finest kona coffee which is powerful, smooth and delicious. We sell to local cafe's that proudly serve our award winning coffee. We require a 2 night minimum. And the latest check in allowed is 10pm.
This is a working farm, so lights out and quiet time from 10:00 pm - 6:00 am. During harvest season (Sept - Jan) our workers sometimes get started at 7am with a fair amount of noise. So during this time of year, our place is more suited to early risers, which is our typical guest. You are welcome to come and go as you please. We just ask everyone to be respectful of others on the farm during quiet time. We’ll happily provide some recommendations on local places to eat or see.

We had a lovely stay at Bebo's farm and bunkhouse. The room was clean, we greatly enjoyed meeting Bebo, Karen and their WWOOF'ers working on site, not to mention delightful dogs to accompany us on walks. I loved exploring the farm in the morning, and the sunset views are amazing. Having snorkel gear available was fantastic, along with great advice on the places to go-and so close to amazing beaches. We spent our entire last day at Ho'okena and it was the best day ever, we spend many days there next time.
Bebo was not on the island while we were here but his wife Karen was a very friendly host who made us feel welcome.
My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Bebo's Bunkhouse. Karen and Bebo made it a point to visit with us and answer all our questions about this beautiful island. They served us coffee and homemade banana bread every morning as well as shared their fresh fruit. My wife loves coffee and Bebo's is the best she found on the island. There was a community table, sink, and refrigerator under the carport where we could visit with other guests and farm workers when we wanted to. The toilet and shower were easy to access. Bebo and Karen had snorkel gear for us to use and the best choral reef 15 minutes away. We would definately stay here again if we ever have the opportunity to come back. My only regret is I didn't catch a fish to share with these wonderful people.
We really enjoyed our stay with Bebo and Karen... it was exactly as described and they were very accommodating and helpful. We felt like part of the family - and their coffee is excellent!
Bebo is a genuine hard working guy who loves to share his life stories and family. I was accepted with open heart. Bebo helped me to find all the places I wanted to go while sharing hot spots to find local Hawaiian food. Staying at Bebo's gave me the true Hawaiian experience that usually can only be found if moving to the Island. Thank you Bebo and Karen for making my stay a truly fulfilling and fun experience.
Bebo's coffee farm offers a convenient room for a stay on the west side of Big Island. It is a great get away to explorer the coast!
The coffee and pumpkin bread for breakfast were delicious. Bebo was very helpful with information about restaurants and things to do!
Bebo's is a wonderful and welcoming casual experience, with Bebo being a gem of knowledge and very informative about his working coffee farm. Bebo truly embodies the Aloha spirit, greeting you with one of the warmest hugs known to man. We were in constant aw of the view, spent lots of time chatting and sharing stories while tasting EXCELLENT coffee (which is so good it requires no cream or sugar). This is a real treat for those interested in a real experience!
Bebo and Karen are very nice people, helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our time with them. Every morning we got fresh brewd coffe and pumpkinbred and fresh fruits from ther own garden, A great thanks from Karin and Guenter
We felt like part of the family. Great coffee and all the fruit we could eat. Bebo was very helpful with information about places to eat and visit. this was nothing fancy, very basic accommodation, but clean and comfortable. We will certainly pop in to say hello on our next visit to big island.
