Escape to Turtle Cave Yurt for a peaceful retreat designed for couples or solo adventurers seeking quiet and connection. Nestled in the heart of Red River Gorge, you’ll wake to birdsong and fresh mountain air—immersed in nature without sacrificing comfort.

Spend your days hiking scenic trails, then return to soak in the hot tub or gather around the fire pit for s’mores under the stars. At night, relax beneath the yurt’s dome skylight and fall asleep stargazing—no tent, no bugs, no hassle.

The space
Our 400 SF yurt is a studio setup with an open bed/living/kitchen area and a cordoned off bathroom with a walk-in shower and washer dryer combo. We have a bistro table and loveseat on the deck, as well as a gas grill and fire pit.
Turtle Cave Yurt is in the Summit Development just 10 minutes from the Slade Exit and Nada. The road to the Yurt is steep and gravel so AWD or 4WD is suggested.
There is a sink-hole cave on the property, but guests are not permitted to enter due to its steepness.
