Welcome to my efficiency studio; It is an open floor plan, hand crafted conversion using mostly recycled materials. Was recently referred to as "funk-a-licious" It is a safe, private, fenced dwelling with outer court yard. The Studio is nestled on a side yard, and shares a circular drive that lies behind a landscaped berm.
Sleeps one or two very comfortably. Ideal for one person or an intimate couple. The main sleeping area is a queen size bed, and there is a sofa couch that makes into a full size bed. Has a shower but no bath. Kitchen area offers many appliances and most conveniences except a conventional oven/stove. Plenty of off-street parking. The enclosed court yard has a BBQ, table, chairs, umbrella.
Centrally located for walking, biking, bus line or driving. Only 3 blocks from bus line, 7 blocks from Boise State University, 8 blocks to the Greenbelt. 15 blocks to the Library, 2 miles form the airport.
This is a mixed neighborhood, with families, singles and some student housing. The studio is in walking distance to all the city offers within a mile. I have a bike available to guests.
The studio is used by me 3 days a week when I am working in town. I built it with my retirement in mind. My son and his family live in the main house next door.
Interaction with Guests
Interaction with guests can be limited or just the right amount.
The neighborhood is mixed-use, private homes and student housing. Usually quiet, very safe and private.
The bus run is 4 blocks from here, and the greenbelt is 7 blocks.
This is a neighborhood that my family lives in, so quiet-time of 10:00pm. No smoking inside the studio.
Great little spot! Sherri was accommodating and prompt in her response to all our questions.
Relaxing hideaway located in a sweet nieghborhood. Sherri thought of everything a traveller would think to need while staying there. Lots of space too!
The Studio was perfect; everything I needed in one cozy little spot! The bed was Extremely comfortable, and the temp control was spot on. There was a sweet note from Sherri on the white board inside welcoming me to the place, as I was arriving on a holiday, and a little late. There were also some snacks and fruit left for me!
Sherri called me during the second day of my stay, to make sure everything was to my liking. It was indeed! I was able to take a short walk, and eat at a fine brewery, the Tilted Kilt - recommended!
I will definitely be looking to stay at Sherri's place again in the future, and hopefully meeting her face to face! This place was a 10/10 for sure!! Thanks Sherri :)
I didn't get a chance to meet Sherri, but she was always available to contact and the Studio was perfect. I really enjoyed staying here - felt like my home away from home. Nice to have shaded, off street parking.
Sherri was great and I loved staying here! It is cozy and quiet. I will do it again and again!
This is a wonderful and cozy place to stay close to Boise State University and downtown Boise! The guest house is clean, private, and very well stocked with all needed amenities and household items. Heating or air conditioning keep you comfortable while you sleep in the comfy bed, or relax on the comfy couch. Sherri was a friendly and accessible host who made sure I had everything I needed. The place has a nice vibe and is a great home base for visiting Boise!
The studio is very comfortable and extremely private. It is close to the university and the downtown area. Sherri was an obliging host who went out of her way to make me feel welcome. The only disadvantage was not having wifi available, but other than that, it's a great value in a good location. I would definitely book it again!
