A beautiful and bright San Francisco studio apartment, located in the Richmond district, is available for short term rental. It's a perfect size for a single traveler, a couple, or a small family who are looking for more budget accommodations in this expensive city.
The apartment was completely renovated in 2006 and everything is in superb condition. The kitchen is equipped with a full-sized refrigerator, microwave and a toaster oven, perfect for having simple breakfasts at home before starting your day of sightseeing. The bathroom is very large and clean and has a tub. There is a comfortable queen-sized bed that sleeps 2, as well as a sofa bed that can accommodate 1 adult comfortably, or 2 children. This set up is more suitable for a family than 2 couples, however, as there is no separation between the sleeping areas.
The location is not considered a traditionally 'touristy' part of the city, but rather more of a neighborhood for San Francisco residents. That being said, Golden Gate Park (home of the De Young museum, California Academy of Sciences, Japanese Tea Garden, and many other attractions), Ocean Beach, Baker Beach, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the Presidio National Park are all nearby. Grocery shopping is simple as there are numerous produce markets and a large supermarket located within easy walking distance of the apartment. There are also many restaurants in the neighborhood, featuring cuisines from all over the world, and ranging in price from budget-friendly to fancy, special occasion-type places.
Public transportation is easily accessible, with 5 bus lines located within a 5 block walk, making Union Square, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39 and many other tourist attractions just a bus ride away. For our guests with a car, we can offer a garage parking space for an additional $25/day.
I am a lifelong San Francisco resident and am happy to act as a resource for my guests whether it be restaurant tips or sightseeing information. I love to travel and meet people from all over the world, and am excited to share my city with new people.

This is a five-star apartment. We stayed there for almost three weeks and loved it. It is very spacious, well furnished and a has a good kitchenette. It was recently remodeled, has nice hardwood floors and all plumbing and appliances are modern. The kitchenette does not have a range or a dishwasher, however there is a microwve oven, electric kettle, hot plate and a dish drainer. The apartment has a private deck overlooking the back yard, which is getting new landscaping. The location is very convenient. It is close to bus stops for the 38, 29 and 31 routes. Within easy walking distance there is a supermarket, grocery and produce stores, hardware store, laundromat, restaurants and churches. The buses can take you to recreation areas, beaches and everywhere else in the city. Vivian and her husband are very nice hosts. They were able to answer all of our questions and provided clean sheets and towels on schedule. We highly recommend this apartment.
This is a great studio in the heart of SF's Richmond District. Super comfortable with all you need to have an amazing vacation. Very clean and the bed was super relaxing. Vivian has provided a great space, we highly recommend.
The studio is gréât, very quiet and lot of Space. The kitchen is useful, and Vivian explaines to us pretty well everything. I Will recommend this place.
great space in a wonderful Inner Richmond location.
could not ask for a better apartment for one or two guests for a few days.
We stayed at Vivian's studio for 5 nights. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here. We brought our bikes down with us and she had no problem with us keeping them in the studio. The studio is very spacious and was very clean on arrival. She met with is and let us leave our bikes in the apt before actual check-in time, which was very nice. She also let us keep the bike boxes and luggage in the room after checkout time (which is 11am, a little early).
It would have been nice to have a side table on both sides of the bed (only on one side, had to use a chair for the other side table). It would be great if she had another mirror in the studio, as the only mirror is in the bathroom. She also has a very cute child, who we could hear at times (it was not a big deal, but something to be aware of).
Overall, I would definitely recommend staying at Vivian's place because it is spacious, decently priced, and in a good, safe location.
My parents stayed here while visiting us and were pleased with their stay.
We had a great time in San Francisco staying at Vivian's place was easy to get to and from, very comfortable & spacious & Vivian was very helpful and a very nice person to boot. Great host, I would definately recommend this place. Thanks Vivian, l
We had a wonderful time in SF. Vivian's appartment is absolutely great, clean, confortable and convenient for a visit of SF. It's 2 min walking from geary boulevard, where you find restaurants, coffee shops and the direct bus to the city center. For people, whos doesn't know SF, the flat is in the foggy part of the city, but when you go to the city center the sun is shinning, strange feeling!
The only thing we missed was the kitchen equipment because i think i didn't read carefully the description. I though we could cook, but it wasn't a big issue. There are way too many good places to have dinner.
My wife and I stayed for three nights in "Comfortable space of your own in SF" hosted by Vivian Sun. The room was spacious and clean. We chose it because it was close to our son's location in SF. Transportation and restaurants were close as well. I would recommend this space and also use it again!
Très bonne adresse, Vivian est très disponible, de très bons conseils.
Appartement très bien placé, bus à proximité, quartier sympa et calme.
Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse pour un passage à San Francisco de plusieurs jours.
