We didn't want to stay at a noisy, crowded hotel for graduation. Elizabeth's house was the perfect solution. It was so relaxing and quiet. Very spacious and clean. So comfy. Easy walk into town. Great neighborhood. I highly recommend staying at Elizabeth's home if you are in the area.

My first AirBNB experience was great. Elizabeth was super helpful with everything leading up to our stay. We booked 9-10 months in advance for a Penn State football weekend (beat Ohio State!!!!). She was very responsive to emails and helpful all around. We squeezed 11 people into the house and honestly it was not bad at all. Will certainly rent the house again for future games.

This was a great house and location for a football weekend at Penn State! We all had a lovely time and would love to come back again next year. It's in a prime location to walk downtown to all the bars and to walk to campus and Beaver Stadium. Thank you Elizabeth for making the place super cozy and leaving out all of the towels, linens and toiletries! - Courtney

LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! This very charming home is located walking distance from downtown and school. It's a very quiet and tranquil respite from the very busy downtown area. It's great for a family of 4 or for a couple of couples wanting to share expenses. Parking is behind the house and we could fit 3 cars front to back, no problem. Be careful going up the steps if you go in from the back. We only unloaded from the back and then used the front door thereafter. The full kitchen has everything, but we wound up bringing our own coffee maker (percolators are the best). It's also nice when you can rent a home and bring your own food to stock the fridge, it makes it very easy. The house was clean and bright/cheery. The best thing is there are two twin beds and a full bathroom downstairs on the ground floor - this is key if you are with anyone with an issue when it comes to climbing steps, as we did with my parents. Towels were available, and blankets, but this is an older home and it can be a little cool inside. We didn't like to raise the heat too much, but the thermostat is there if you need to. We did use the outside table/chairs when the weather permitted, which was very nice. There were 8 of us sitting in that outdoor area in the front and we were very comfortable. If you are a news junkie I recommend bringing your ipad to stream, as there are no local channels available on the tv - again, when traveling with older folks, they like their news in the morning. If you are with a larger group, make sure you clarify with the host that there are the necessary beds set up. All in all it was a very nice weekend and it was great not having to get into the car all the time and just be able to walk to town. It was also nice for our family to be able to spend graduation weekend together in one place. This house is quite charming and has a lot of interesting features.

We really enjoyed staying at Elizabeth's home. While Elizabeth was not able to meet us in person the house manual was clear and we had no problem obtain entry. The house was clean, comfortable and stylish. Since we were traveling with our toddler we especially appreciated the fact that the home was already childproofed (outlet covers, padded table corners, a crib and an assortment of toys). The neighborhood was quiet at night, which is quite rare for a home within walking distance of downtown State College. This is a great place. I highly recommend considering this rental.

We had a great weekend at Elizabeth's home. The house was adorable, very clean and welcoming. Parking was sufficient and it was a great location to be able to walk to downtown on a late Fall weekend. Elizabeth was extremely responsive and easy to reach through the reservation process. I would definitely stay again.
