Directions to get home from the airport:
There are several options:
The apartment is on the expo site/neighborhood, next to the Vasco da Gama school, by the river, in Expo North, close to campus de justiça (where the court is). If you have luggage. I would advise the taxi, as it is not expensive, not more tan 10 euros, even with luggage.
2 ) Metro
There is also the metro :get off either at Oriente stop or Moscavide, but in either one you need to walk 10/15 minutes. It costs around 1 euro, single trip.
There is also a bus that brings you directly almost to the door, although it is not the fastest route, as it goes around other neighborhoods before coming down to Expo, so it will take about 20 minutes. It is bus number 708, in the direction Expo Norte. Count 16 stops and get off at the 16th stop, named Jardim dos Jacarandás stop.It is just in front of a small supermarket with a bright green sign saying FRESCOS. Cross the street (coming towards the river). The street that is there, in front of you is Rua de Moscavide, which is my street. When you cross the street there is first a sort of "gardened" spot, then a set of buildings, but when you start coming down the stree you will immediately see a bight pink/salmon building, which is my building. The first entrance has a blue plate saying 4.29.01 A and you just ring the bell for 5B, which is my apartment.
There are also other two buses from the airport, which are faster (10 minutes), but you have to walk much longer, since you have to get off at Avenida da Boa Esperança and walk to my building: bus 208 or bus 705, both coming to Oriente. A single bus fare costs about 1.70 euro.
