Modern RV (Glamper) with 2 queen beds (one soft, one firm), a Smart TV, WIFI, full kitchen, BBQ Grill, outdoor patio with lounge chairs for sunbathing, star gazing, outside grilling and dining. My art studio is located in the biodome to the side. Space for yoga or meditation or enjoy playing your instruments or just hanging out while soaking in the energy of this magnificent crystal centered structure. Next to the fire pit we have gurgling stream.

The space
The Land: So much more to offer than initially meets the eye, this land sits on a bedrock of quartz crystal and vortex/ley line, according to native american folklore and dowsing. We are at about 3000 feet in elevation so it does get cool at night. We suggest turning off the AC and opening all the windows for a nice cool breeze all night. Ahhhh, mountain air!

The Space: This 34' Reverse Loft RV has two comfortable queen beds. The firm bed is upstairs and overhead from the reverse loft downstairs which has a memory foam mattress. The TV/DVD is in the living area and we subscribe to Netflix which you connect to via the Smart DVD player.

The Adjacent Porch, Patio and Biodome: Aside from a very comfortable place to eat, sleep and be merry, this “tiny house” sits next to a "small copy" of Buckminster Fuller’s geodesic dome design, modeled after the 1967 US Pavillion at the Montreal World Expo and built by John Denver’s crew in 1987, right after they finished building singer/songrwriter Denver’s biodome at the Windstar Foundation in Snowmass, Colorado. Our Biodome is 50' in diameter and 3 stories high! The Biodome has a deep history as the centerpiece for an early biodynamic farming community. Your host, Nina Howard, has converted the Biodome into a modern art studio to paint her large abstracts as well as to protect and house her plants during the colder months so that she can have year round organic veggies and flowers. Nina asks that you respect the privacy of her art studio and do not enter into it unless she is there (no doors). The art studio only takes up about 1/3 of the space inside the dome. The rest can be enjoyed by her guests! Nina is only there 2 or 3 days a week (usually during the week) for a couple hours each day and you probably won't even see her.

Patio: Two loungers on the patio are great for south facing sunbathing or moon gazing at night.

Porch: The porch has a dining table and settee and chairs, including a big rocking chair, for just hanging out.

The Grape vineyard and fruit orchard: Follow the paved road in front up the hill and to your left you will see the grape vineyard, blackberry patch and fruit orchard. In late summer the fruits are in season. Help yourself!! Also, find a nice spot behind the vineyard to perch and enjoy the rolling mountain views!

Food: We offer coffee, tea, oatmeal, and crunchy breakfast bars for your first morning so that if you get in late you won't have to go grocery shopping before breakfast.

Where you’ll be

Waynesville, North Carolina, United States

This neighborhood (The Biodome Village) was built as a Biodynamic Farming Community in the mid 80's that included 8 homes and a large barn right next door (which is now a mixed use residence/business). Other houses in the Biodome Village are private residences. The residents no longer do cooperative gardening and live individual and private lives. Your host has retained the grape vineyard on a separate lot across the street and up the hill which includes blackberries and fruit trees. When fruit is in season, help yourself! The views are awesome from the vineyard!

I am a lover of all things in the spa world. My 5 1/2 pound dog, Ling-Ling, is the center of my life. I recently sold Bellanina Day Spa & Institute in Ann Arbor, so now I spend more time creating beauty in art and interior design and enjoying gardening in my 50' geodesic greenhouse in the mountains of North Carolina, near Asheville. I have built my reputation in the Spa world from being a great host and it has carried over to AirBnB as a SuperHost! I am always seeking the high road and enjoy inspiring people and sharing my vision for our emerging paradigm shift. My life is built on the foundations of love, gratitude, compassion and generosity. I am thankful to have so many guests that love staying in my guesthouses!
