Escape to the Chatham Beach Hideaway, a 4 bedroom, 2 bath renovated home tucked away on a private secluded lot just a short stroll to a private beach.
The Hideaway is ideal for friends, couples or families who are seeking relaxation and fun in charming Chatham. A short walk (4/10 mile) to the private Pleasant Street Beach and a short drive (3 miles) to quaint downtown Chatham which offers restaurants, shops, and nostalgic Friday night band concerts.
The Hideaway is fully loaded and should have all the amenities you are looking for. But please ask if you don't see something you are looking for.

Why many people go to Chatham – The Beach!
We usually enjoy our coffee on the patio, take a jog, pack our lunches, sand chairs, and coolers to head to the beach! Don’t forget a good book and your sunscreen! If you want to take a break from packing your own lunch, the Box Office Café at the corner of Pleasant street can do that for you! Be sure to call ahead to pre-order, as they get very busy.
• Pleasant Street Beach: End of Street (If you have small children and want a small beach try Pleasant or Forest)
• Forest Street Beach: One street over (Forest Street) – end of Street
• Red River Beach: Less than a mile away
Other great beaches in Chatham (driving) a few miles away:
• Ridgevale Beach: Nice for adults and children as it has a wading area for kids but also nice beach too. Has food
• Hardings Beach: Always seems to have bigger waves….
• Nauset Beach (in Orleans). A good 20+ min drive but a huge gorgeous beach. Food also here
After all day at the beach is it so nice to head home, hit the outdoor shower, relax on the patio, grill, and enjoy the fire pit and smores.

On an afternoon that you need a break from sitting on the beach- take of tour of Chatham from the Sea! My ideal is to take a late afternoon tour seeing Chatham from the water. The tours take off from the Fish Pier. Following the tour, walk down to the Chatham Bars Inn for a happy hour cocktail at the outside gazebo.

Shopping: Strolling Main Street in Chatham is always fun. Hitting the Chatham Squire for my favorite clam Chowder is a must as well!
Chatham Band Concert: A huge tradition for years in downtown Chatham is the band concert every Friday night. Have dinner in Chatham, along Main Street and be sure to put your blanket or sand chairs on the gazebo to save your spot. All ages love this concert. If you have young children, they will love hitting the penny candy store (well not pennies anymore) on Main Street!
Wequassett Inn: The outside casual eating and cocktail area is great for adults and kids. They usually have activities for children and adults love it. Be sure to call ahead as sometimes it is closed for weddings.
Lobsta Fests on the patio: It is always fun to eat out, but when I am at the Chatham Beach Hideaway it is so nice to relax and have dinner on the patio.
For Lobsta and chowda fests: I always get my clam chowda from the Chatham Squire. They sell is in larger quantities and pick it up. I get my lobsters from (email hidden)
