Comfy bed for better sleep

The room-darkening shades and extra bedding are loved by guests.

Wonderful cozy guest cabin in the woods. Knotty pine living space with outdoor elements throughout. Open concept with beds/living room/kitchen all sharing the same space. Full stocked kitchen with Kuerig coffee bar ready to start your day off right! Covered front porch for sitting and enjoying the views. Parking at front door.

The space
Private fire pit available on property. Will provide a small starter supply of firewood. Several private hiking trails seasonally available on site as well (non manicured trails). Also within 1 mile drive of public Kinniconick Creek access for kayaks or fishing. Wonderful backroads less than a mile away for biking.

Guest access
Fire pit, separate backyard outdoor space for the cabin guests to utilize. Gas grill, several outdoor chairs.

*Distance to Shawnee Lodge in Ohio: 40 Minutes.
*Distance to Carter Caves State Resort Park in KY: 38 minutes.
Laundromat available in city of Vanceburg less than 10 minutes away. Fast food same location in Subway, McDonalds and several wonderful pizza joints. Grocery store with full deli 8.5mi away in Garrison.

*Severe winter weather during any reservation may require 4x4 to access.*

*We live in Eastern KY on a hill and this is what allows us to have wonderful views and the cabin to have outdoor spaces surrounding it. Please message if you have any questions about our driveway. I have included a picture on the listing as well. As long as no winter weather is around, any car should have no issues with our gravel drive. Having stated that, it does take steady deliberate speed to drive right up it (I personally have a smaller suv and never engage 4x4 on our driveway, just rear wheel drive only; and have owned numerous small front wheel drives and they also have no issues)…Idling up the drive will most likely result in traction control issues/spinning and having to back up and retry.
