Big picturesque windows & doors overlooking the mountains. Huge double doors open up to a private deck and mountain stream. This light and airy shipping container is mostly off-grid and great for eco-friendly thinking guests, who will treat this home with love and care. Take the weekend and UNPLUG with a great book. Lay in bed, and listen to the sounds of nature!

Kitchenette: mini-fridge, toaster oven, french press coffee maker, cooktop, and all your dining essentials.
-dining inside or out for two

Bathroom: hot shower, compost toilet
**The toilet MUST be used properly. When used properly there will be NO bothersome smells. Please let us know if you have any questions about how to use it properly.
-Shower and sink water drain directly into our gardens (use the plant-based products provided)

Sleeping: queen size bed looking out at the mountains or opened up shipping doors

Heating/Cooling: propane wall heater, ac window unit

Location:
- the parking area is below next to the barn and the tiny house is up a hill.
*It is not far but appropriate shoes (boots) and luggage (not rolling) are a good idea*
-located in a neighborhood at the end of a road
-quiet after 10pm

Wildlife: (turkey, coyote, black bear, deer, salamander, owls, hawks, etc)
-be aware that there are bears that walk through the property from time to time. Do not leave any trash or food out that may attract them.
-tiny hiking trail behind the barn headed up the mountain (only open in late fall, winter, and early spring).
-Young fruit trees, gardens, lavender hill, flowers, a dog, and a cat.

Other:
Enjoy an evening fire (wood not provided) and stargazing. Head out to the super close and tasty farm-to-table dining experience. Coffee shops, bakeries, shopping, art, hiking, breweries and so much more are all super close by.

We also offer elopements. Elope by the barn with the Blue Ridge Mountains as your backdrop. Gather with your closest companions and share your vows and an evening fire. As well as, luxury picnics, and vow renewals.

There is a grocery store 3 miles away. Lots of great locally-owned restaurants, coffee shops, yoga studios, bakeries, breweries, and cocktail lounges are located within 5-10min.

There are 3 tiny houses, a yurt, and our home on this five acre property. There is a private space for each lodge to cookout, have an evening fire, and relax.
