Our cool and comfortable bungalow offers a peaceful and truly relaxing escape from 'all inclusive' type tourism. It comfortably fits three adults or a family. Enjoy the D. R. and its wonderful cultures in a way that you will fall in love with.

The space

A clean private apartment, to rent, set amongst the abundance of natural beauty of Jurassic Park.

The bungalow come with a fully equipped kitchen, a double bed (if required, another bed can be arranged), a bathroom with shower, and a terrace with views of the beautiful green tropical valley and the ocean.

Jurassic Park is a magical place situated on a small hill, in a tranquil valley, 3-5 mins outside of the main town Las Terrenas.

A short stroll behind us there are two waterfalls with pools - which are extremely inviting, especially when its hot, great for cooling off and helping to make you feel at peace with the world.

We have semi controlled jungle areas which we continue to improve and make part of the attraction of being here.

There is very little light pollution (no upward facing lights) so you can view the night sky, from our open pool terrace, which are mostly spectacular all year round.

If you are a star gazer, a writer or a poet you would feel very much at home here.

We are moving towards self sufficiency and Eco tourism. We already have pure spring water and we have solar panels and soar water heaters.

We will in the future add a variety of electric vehicles for guests.

If you have children then this is a natural wonderland providing constant amazement. Indeed, visits from the local children, who are a breath of fresh air, will aid your children in understanding this environment.

To top it off we have a trampoline which is very popular with children and uncontrollably happy adults alike.

We also grow many fruits and vegetables and indeed as I write this the wife has popped out to our herb garden for some coriander.

We hope to have created a much more personal and friendly feeling.

We have a great track record of content, repeat visitors. It seems that a return visit is a must, once you have been bitten by the magic and unadulterated beauty of our little oasis.

Also for a small additional fee we now offer breakfast (typically eggs, toast, seasonal fruits, juices, vegetable and cheese empanadas and coffee in our jungle communal area. Its a great chance to discuss your days activities and learn the best places to go. Just let us know before hand.

My sister and I stayed in 4 different cities and in 4 different Air B and B's throughout our trip in the DR and this place was truly our favorite. Helena and Dominic were easy to communicate with not only during our stay but also prior to the trip such as providing detailed info and advice on how to get to and from their home as well as things to do while there. During our time there, they recommended an excursion that included hiking and explore private land and waterfalls with Fausto. This was one of the best adventures and Fausto is truly a gem. I also want to note that their staff was also so helpful and friendly to us. We were so sad to leave (still are) and already have talked about returning one day.

This is a paradise, I love this place. Nothing to do with pascal and Karina who try to call themselves Jurassic park but it has nothing to do with. Please do not confuse this place with any other one

Overall, the place is called the Jurassic Park and it says it all. The nature around that the campus is incredible. On the other hand, the room had a lot of issues. First, there are a lot of bugs including spiders in the room. Second, it was a rat in our bed. The rat was friendly, so mostly likely this rat was a runaway pet. Still, we woke up at 4 AM and a rat was sitting in our bed next to us :-(

If you want an authentic Dominican stay this is the place to be. Las Terrenas/Samana is a beautiful place and Jurassic Park is a gem. There is so much to do and discover in this area. Dominic along with his family and staff are amazing and will not disappoint! They are at your disposal and will definitely point you to the right direction in whatever you want to do or whatever you want to see. This is a true Dominican campo (country) experience which we loved and enjoyed so much. What I appreciate the most is how Dominic is part of this Dominican community and is there to show others it's true natural beauty, as oppose to changing it. I just wish we stayed longer!

Jurassic Park is breathtakingly beautiful. The bungalow was very comfortable. It's at the end of a line of rooms, so you can lay out in the hammock and just gaze at the lush greenery. Wifi was the best I encountered in all of DR. Other than a couple spiders, the whole place was remarkable insect-free. Dominic greeted us warmly and gave us great advice on where to go in the area and how to use the local motorcycle taxis. Only warning--the road up to the Park is kind of rough. We rented a small SUV and were very glad we didn't get the economy car.

All the rave reviews for the Jurassic Park experience are right on point. A large and beautiful property central to the oasis that is Las Terrenas. The bungalow is as pictured if not better, the descriptions are accurate. Dominic and Helena are incredibly knowledgeable and are pursuing amazing projects on property. My only complaint is that I could not stay longer! A note to future guests: be prepared to get a form of transport to go to and from Jurassic Park.

This was our third stay at Jurassic Park. We love the place. Helena and Dominic are really great hosts and always make you feel at home. We love the silence of the place. At night you hear the insects, frogs and see many lightning bugs. The stars are amazing. The cottages are very simple, but great for a vacation. We love shopping in town and then cooking our meals in the little kitchenette. Sitting outside on the porch for dinner is so beautiful. A paradise well worth visiting!
