Leila Room at charming Riad Asna

Bed & Breakfast - Private room · Rue Bab Doukkala, Marrakesh, Marrakech-Tensift-El Haouz, Morocco

Lovely room with a double bed or two single beds with good bedding and air conditioning with private bathroom and located on the ground floor opening onto the patio. The Riad is 15min walk away from most points of interest.

The Space

The serenity of the place offers a striking contrast with the agitation of the medina. This harmonious and friendly Riad is organised around a luminous courtyard and the freshness of the pool. The decoration in sober colours and oriental touches make returning to his haven of peace, a happy moment.

Guest Access

The Riad is equipped with Wi-Fi Internet connection and the common lounge room has a TV with DVD player. You will have access to all facilities such as sun loungers at the rooftop terrace, interior and exterior lounge and dining rooms. Coffee and tea are for free during the whole stay.

Interaction with Guests

We love a warm and personalized welcome with enough time to inform you of the functioning of the Riad and the possibility of asking us all the questions you may have.
We are also present in the morning and end of the afternoon to find our guests and address their questions and requests. There is a staff member on site 24h/24h.

The Neighborhood

The Riad is ideally placed in the heart of the medina, in the neighbourhood of Bab Doukkala, a popular and trading place filled with colourful, animated streets. It lays 15 min away by foot from the Jema El Fna Square and the Guéliz and Hivernage areas (the modern part of the city). The bus station of Bab Doukkala is 5 min away by foot.

Getting around

The Riad is easily accessible by car with a surveyed parking place 24h/24h about 3 min away. For you comfort, we can organise the transfer from the airport.

Other Things to Note

You can enjoy the lavishness of a massage from our masseuse at the treatment room and taste the traditional Moroccan cuisine with a homemade meal.
We also offer the possibility of booking or organising excursions and city tours as well as events for your celebrations.

  • Beautiful Riad Asna is very relaxing place to stay in Marrakesh! Service was excellent, breakfast and dinner at the rooftop was delicious. We also recommend the massage. All in all highly recommended!

  • Riad Asna is absolutely beautiful, and a fantastic place to stay. Since the riad was not fully booked during our stay, we were upgraded to a larger room (the Narjis). Breakfast was delicious -- Moroccan crepes, fresh orange juice, tea, bread, yogurt & fruit (strawberries or bananas). The neighborhood is really great. The riad is located on a quiet street off of a larger street with lots of merchants, but it's a bit less touristy than those near the square, so you can look around and buy things without the merchants harrassing you. But, it's still very convenient to walk to the main square and souks. We took the airport transfers that the riad arranged, which I recommend, because it's tricky to find if you're not familiar with the medina. Marrakech can be a really exhausting place to experience, and the riad is a welcome relief from the craziness outside. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful... it's a small riad, so the service is really personal. I really couldn't recommend it more highly.

    Description fidèle à la réalité !
    La nourriture était bonne, mais nous avons goûté de meilleurs plats ailleurs dans le Maroc.
    Pour le reste: tip top !

  • I stayed at Riad Asna for 5 nights and enjoyed my stay. Veronique and Patricia were very attentive and friendly and the rest of the staff was also kind and helpful. The weather was miserable and cold much of the time, but the beds were nice and warm and the staff lit a fire in the dining room in the evenings to keep it cozy. Additionally they were generous with tea and coffee and little extras. Dinners were large and delicious.

    Staying in a riad has its own considerations. They are small and the service is personal. It's hard to make it all perfect, but at Riad Asna all little problems were quickly addressed. Shower cold? Just replace the gas drum. Rain coming down? Span a plastic tarp across the courtyard.

    Riad Asna was a welcome refuge in a difficult city. I never really felt welcome in Marrakech. It's an economic reality that people there only want to exploit you and deceive you and are unrelenting. But I felt very welcome at Riad Asna. I recommend it highly.

  • Wow what a great place to stay, we really enjoyed our stay its such a relaxed beautiful place. It's really close to the centre but far enough away from all the craziness. The room was comfy and clean and the breakfast is lovely. When we arrived at the airport someone was there to meet us and took us straight to the riad worth the 20 euros and we booked to have a meal when we arrived it was great. When we go back to Marrakech we will be staying with Veronique again.

  • What a lovely stay we had at Riad Asna! A quiet, peaceful place with a staff full of smiles and wonderful tips to get to know the best of Marrakesh. The location is perfect: close to a gate to outside the Medina, which makes it easy to arrive from the airport and to visit Majorelle Gardens.And also close enought to walk to any of the sights at the Medina. Dont forget to try the sweet fig jam at breakfest - became the taste of Morocco for me.

  • Sono stata ospite cinque notti in questo delizioso riad e devo dire che l'esperienza è stata stupenda: il personale, tutto, estremamente gentile e per me che ho viaggiato sola, molto premurosi;
    molto attivi sui consigli ma mai invadenti, inoltre, grazie alle signore che lavorano lì, ho cenato sempre divinamente! La colazione squisita, la cena ottima, il servizio presente, la calma e la pace del riad indimenticabili;
    esperienza assolutamente da ripetere, grazie Veronique!

    Super! Tomas

  • The riad and host are lovely. We liked it that the riad is out of the busiest and most touristy part of the souks....but still only a short walk away. Veronique and her staff were also very helpful arranging day trips and visits to shops.
